You know. I just drank after being sober for a year. I'm lost. I hate my life. I've been saved by God. Yet I feel so lost. So freaking lost. Hope y'all stay blessed and have a good life. I love all of you

Pastor Ed your thoughts you wrestle with are not correct. CBC doesn't need another pastor. This world needs more CBC churches with Pastor Ed's! Every week I watch you from Seattle WA I say it all the time! Man I wish we had a Pastor and church like that here in Seattle area! Don't doubt yourself your amazing Pastor Ed Newton child of the most high! Glory to God he knew what he was making you too be and that's a great man of God sharing God's love and word!!!!!!

I’m taking reboot courses and love this pastor speaking honestly about mental health and healing! I’m certified mental health trauma recovery coach and former caseworker. I found CBC as he ministered to Anothy. I’m feeling I need to attend in October following our coaching counseling conference

I struggle with major symptoms of depression and PTS related to my time in the service. I alsobstruggle with self medicating, while at the same time, studying to be a minister. The enemy definitely uses my imperfections to try and shame me. The pastor/counselor who was able to reach me in my most desperate time of need told me the following when I told him that I felt the call to ministry as a vocation: "Never be ashamed to be vulnerable to the people you have been called to minister to." This has led to me being a lot more open with people than they are comfortable with. But it has opened up so many conversations that have been led by the Spirit. I am not called to minister to those who believe they are fixed, I am called to minister to those who realize that, like me, they are broken. Only Christ can put back the pieces. Just found this church online tonight. After watching 4-5 hours of sermons I am hooked. Thank you for allowing the Holy Spirit to speak through you.

Every time I watch this which is often, I marvel, that in 46 minutes you and Jesus unpack the dump truck of mental illness I've struggled with for more than 46 years. I've had secular counseling and in- patient help but felt unseen and unheard. I've spent much of my Christian life being condemned and ridiculed for my lack of faith, sincerity and salvation. I became a "people pleaser" just to fit in at church which put me in the direct antipode position God wants me in. All said, thank you, bless you and grace upon you as you continue to represent those of us who have been considered children of a lesser God.❤ I praise God for your struggles because you champion my cause and the cause of tens of thousands like me which gives us hope!!!!!! I love you Pastor and I can't imagine how much our Abba loves you as well.❤❤❤❤❤❤ Nothing is wasted with God and the mental boot camp of misery for the benefit of others is a small price to pay in light of eternity.

Thank you Dr. Ed Newton, you are a true blessing & have a great gift to share Words from God! I needed to hear all you share, u suffer from mental illness & isolate myself from due to past events, I want to change, I ask God in Jesus name to help me, but it’s difficult to talk about or face my fears.

I’ve been trying to be heard for years and nobody listens. Now I attend CBC and pastor Ed is what I need to be heard. Celebrate Recovery is helping somewhat but…. I need more intense counseling. More stress and anxiety. Why can’t I just go hide in a big hole somewhere? I don’t want to waste anyone’s time anymore😩😢

Because you experience what others go through makes you a great example of a Pastor! Makes you real! God is our physician I had a dream how to lift off the spirit of depression and that was worshipping God every day, every moment under your breath, every moment you can and within 6 months it lifted. (Focus on God) I have my moments as well.

It's quiet deep because I've been speaking to Christ about how I don't want to be under Judas as is written in revelation thousand under each discipline ..... And then I got a message that Christ has forgiven and moved on and so it should be with us.... So this space a specific someone always brings up the old.

Don’t even get me started. I was in the Navy and I had a chief who treated me bad because of mental health issues. Can you imagine someone being your leader and meant to lead you is your biggest bully?

I've been in isolation slowly getting out of it....tonight I see my sister walking in with her bags and it's like a reminder of when myself and my sister got dropped off at the garage for my father to collect us... Any reason why I constantly get reminded of the old past? Is it because someone else has not healed from it and could be keeping me back???
