My wife & son died, in my opinion, f/medication given them in the hospital in December 2021. To make matters worse, the local paper wrote a story based on the obituary & public Facebook posts of others against my wishes to push their political narrative. The last 6 months & everything that has happened since their death has been crushing me like a machine press. This sermon has helped me weather the storms & continue to hold on for dear life. I listen to it daily to encourage me & continue to help me hold on. Not in a ritualistic manner, but like a sailor holding onto the ship's wreckage for dear life in the midst of the storm. A year later on November 28, 2023, this word was for me! There are no coincidences with God! We have been going through trials in our family & I questioned if God was hearing my prayers. I listened to this message 2 nights ago & this morning the title of one of the devotions I read was "When you wonder if God hears your prayers" & it referenced the same scripture about Hagar & pointed out the name she gave God, El Roi & reminded me again that God sees me, hears me & is working through my prayers in the situation we are dealing with. We need to find forgiveness for someone we loved dearly who has hurt us very much & my greatest prayer is that God will bring him to the point where He sees only God & is first above all else in his life! Thank You God! Thank you Louie for being obedient to God!

@Danny Dolan I am so sorry to hear about your difficult situation. Divorce is such a hard thing to navigate. Both divorce and the loss of a loved one is so incredibly difficult - especially when you have very little to no support. I am right there with you in the "very little support" box. It's so hard when you have to do this all on your own. Yes, my health is getting tremendously worse with the grief added to it. I just keep waiting for the day when I open my eyes and see Jesus. That's the only hope I have right now. I admire that you are holding on to God during your difficult time and also choosing to pray for others. God bless you for that.

He was so spiritually peaceful I did not want to leave, but He said my child why do you seek love when it walks with you all the days of your life?
