Great video. Good to see the CT back. I love the XR150 content as well. I am in the process of converting an old 1996 XR200R for dual sport duty. I recently upgraded my chain to a DID X-ring chain. Significantly better than OEM. I was having to adjust my original chain every oil change (~600miles). I haven’t had to touch the new chain yet. 2 oil changes so far. I also changed my rear sprocket from a 39 to a 43. Don’t do that. I did it for off road torque climbing hills. It worked great for that. But my top end suffered quite a bit for commuting. Also, in their wonderful wisdom, Honda uses something inside the engine for speed reference. So changing the sprockets throws off the balance between that reading, and the ABS on the front wheel. Result, ABS light flashes when you hit speeds above 50. Then flashes the rest of your ride.

Thanks for watching! I was planning on using a DID chain but the NICHE was quite a bit cheaper so I thought I’d give it a go. So far so good! I’m glad it’s lasting and staying tensioned for you. I’ll keep that in mind as I was thinking about changing sprockets on the XR150! Thanks!

Great video! The Niche chains are amazing. I just replaced my Niche chain with another one. It had 14,000 hard miles on it and had probably 3-4K miles left on it. I only changed it due to having to replace sprockets.

For some reason I was unsubscribed to your channel. I don't know why. it wasn't something I did. YT can be funny that way sometimes.

We can assume it's a 45 or 50 mph speed limit or you should not be ridding on those highways. Max speed of that bike is 55 and if you have cars and trucks passing you all time, I would suggest you increase your life insurance.

The speed limit of every road you saw in this video did not exceed 45mph.
