Love these turbos. Makes life so much easier. I had a oil drain tube get hit by road debris and cut it. I didn’t know until the engine started knocking so I steered clear of turbo set ups until these came along.

How much pumps per cartridge?

Haven't kept track on mine, but I'm still using the original grease cartridge I ordered with my turbo. I have the first gen water cooled oil-less in a low mount config, it's been on the car about 5-6 years now. At a minimum I grease at the beginning of spring every year when I take the car out of storage, but also did some greasings here and there after dyno session, before drag strip outings etc. My car is mostly a summer/weekend car. On their site it says each cartridge lasts 30 services so guess that would be 200+ plus pumps. I reckon even if you greased 2-3 times a year, the one cartridge should last the service life of the turbo or about 10 years. They recommend a 50k mile service inspection and rebuild if needed. All way better than any of my oil fed journal bearing turbos I've run in the past that's for sure.

Thanks for the video! When disassembling for powder coating. Any specific instructions? Do you recommend changing the orings? Thanks

got it. so instead of being consumer friendly because there wasnt enough profit in making oilless turbos alone you decided to keep the grease a "secret" and charge $100 a tube every 3k miles...

He said it, it goes in the compressor side so makes his way in the engine

@@nazzytpr No, he said it goes into the turbine side, meaning it gets burned-up in the exhaust stream.
