Comp Turbo Patented Oil-Less Air-Cooled Turbochargers

Pomona, California, November 5, 2019. Comp Turbo Technology, Inc. has announced the availability of an air-cooled Oil Less turbocharger model. This innovative model eliminates the need for traditional water lines that carry cooling water and oil.
The new model has an internal passage that directs a flow of cooling air from the space behind the compressor wheel into the cooling jacket in the turbocharger bearing housing. This cooling air can be used as a cooling medium because the temperature of the air behind the compressor wheel is around half of the total temperature rise in the compression process. As the speed of the turbocharger increases, the amount of cooling air will also increase since the pressure ratio developed by the compressor increases with speed.
The new Oil-less, Water-less turbocharger is a great addition to the oil-less models. It can be mounted in any orientation on the engine since there are no oil and water lines, which makes turbocharger locations much more convenient.

It evaporates overtime with heat into the turbine( it leaks out to keep everything greased and you refill it as it leaks and evaporates)

Can the water be from the air2water intercooler lines , temps range from 40-100 degrees? Looking for options to set away from procharger , currently maxed the f1a94 headunit out prefer not to go crank driven.

Hi, I need to replace my Garrett 3582 V Band T4 housing compressor because it can't push beyond 24 PSI while my engine needs at least 36 PSI. What do you recommend????? Thank you-
