Everyone’s needs are different & I haven’t found yet a camper/van that would meet my needs. I’m moving up from tent camping & I’m getting older. Going in the woods is getting harder & the main thing I need is having a toilet with shower. If I have it on a trailer or in a cargo van. When I go to the woods I rough it & don’t need to bring the whole house with me. I don’t need no TV because I have nature. All my cooking is done outside & having a fridge/freezer would be nice but I can manage with a five day cooler. As for sleeping I have a Spring Bar tent that’s easy to set up & have a queen air bed that’s high off the ground that I don’t hit the ground in the morning. It’s not like RV’s where you climb in & out. Don’t mind when I’m younger but would like to have the option to make the bed into two single beds. One advantage of that I can take a Buddy hunting with me. Also would sit on the beds to eat if the weather outside is bad with a folding table that can be used outside as well. Where the beds are I can arrange them different ways & fold up to pull my quad in if it be a van or trailer. I think I rather have a van & no need to tow a trailer. Great for picnics & always have a toilet near by. If I take two quads I’ll need to tow a trailer. What bothers me the most about camping is to many people with their loud music & driving around real fast. I try to find places that are quite & go during the week.

What's so infuriating is that none of these is available in the US except for the Airstream which is far too heavy even for my Volvo XC70 to tow (due to a pathetically low max tongue weight of 160lbs). In Europe regular cars tow caravans no problem. Here in the US you need a truck or an SUV to tow any fully equipped camper. What gives?

Slide-of-hand: configured on a structure on a forward pivot / aft lift only, with a sloping roof when raised, though still enveloping the base collapsed. Also allowing for a passenger side door.
