Lovely trailer. I could sure use that. Less snow each winter to drag trees out of the woods .

The lack of snow here was the deciding factor for me to buy it.

Great loader log trailer. I didn't realize that it had drive wheels. Nice. If I may make a suggestion, try not to move the camera around so fast so we can see what you are talking about. It's a kinda motion sickness effect. Thank you for explaining everything. Best Regards

I’ve since invested in a new camera that should help with smoothing out the images- I agree- it’s a little too much to take in, especially on a bigger screen! Thanks for hanging in there! Cheers, Jeff

Howdy from Nova Scotia, new sub. Found you trying to get some video feedback on the Norwood winch. I also looked at those trailers, but between the tractor, sawmill (WM HM130 max), land prep, etc, I was hemorrhaging money at too quirk a rate. Getting some money back now, so maybe next spring for the Iron Baltic.

Where in NS are you?
@claytonnicholson46392 жыл бұрын
@@thelogfather5002 I retired from the military just over four years ago, and bought a place on the water near Orangedale (Cape Breton). Watched your rant about logs...it's ridiculous down this way trying to even get a load of logs, let alone good ones. Saw a Kijiji add the other day, a fella up in the Valley was OFFERING $175/cord for saw logs. They should only be $150, the province is full of them!
@thelogfather50022 жыл бұрын
I’m on the south shore of NS, log procurement has always been my biggest challenge. I’m not concerned so much about the price, as long as it’s fair and market aligned. It’s the quality and then finding a truck to haul them for me. I have a dump Trailer and a truck to haul it, so if there’s a way to load them on the other end, I’m good! The trailer can dump them off here at the mill, otherwise I can use my little iron Baltic trailer to unload them. Thanks again for watching! Jeff

Thanks for your quick response I reached out to north forest products and see what they have and pricing. I have a 31hp 4x4 tractor that pair with the trailer would be a great combo. it seems to be pretty powerful for its size.

@@earthandheavenlandscapinga4850 that’ll be a great combo! Does their trailer have a hydraulic drive on the axle?

Yes its the same trailer as yours they are out of NH. I put in a request for info and pricing. Was it hard to assemble yours?
@thelogfather5002 Жыл бұрын
Very easy to assemble. I’m a mechanic by trade though, the only downside of it- for you being in the US is that it’s entirely metric. That’s ok for every other country in the world, but if you blow a hose or need a fitting or fastener- you may have to search a bit to find what you’re looking for.
