could you do a video about Stiebel eltron water DCE-S 6/8 plus heater plumbing installation instructions

The Plus is very similar in its installation requirements to the X-Premium so this video should help - I'll take that feedback to the team. Thank you.

Is this really powerful enough for a shower as your website suggests? Average water temp going in will likely be around 10 degrees, on a 12kW model that works out as about 6.1l flow a minute (using your flow calculator tool)...is this enough for a non-electric shower?

Hi - it does of course depend on how powerful you want your shower. At 240V this can actually deliver more like 14kW so can have a max flow of 7.3l/m with an intake of 10 degrees and an output of 38. I actually have a model this size running a shower and basin at home.

Flow rate? Only 6 lpm?
@StiebelEltronuk3 жыл бұрын
If the inlet temp is 10 degrees and the output at 38 the 12kW model will deliver 6.1 lpm. If you need more from an instant water heater you need a 400v supply and we have 18/21/24 and 27kW models.

@@StiebelEltronuk Are there any more specs showing the flow rate vs temperatures. I’m assuming from your response, it means if the inlet temperature is 25 degrees and you still want 38 on the outlet, there will be more flow?
@StiebelEltronuk3 жыл бұрын
@@masterKidful Yes - our formulary tool will give you what you need: www.stiebel-eltron.co.uk/toolbox/formeln/. And yes at 25 degrees input you can get 13 lpm output at 38 degrees.
