I definitely appreciate the quality because even when I was a young new poor photographer (40 years ago) I invested in Billingham bags! So now as a 63 year old more well to do pro who is actually looking for a new photo rucksack, this is an obvious choice for me because this bag will probably last longer than me! You published this over one year ago. Do you still feel as high on the bag? The reviews on B & H where polarised. Some loved it and some hated it due to the quality problems? thanks for the review.

The only issue this bag has is a slight velcro issue on the divider between the roll top and the bottom. When gear is loaded up and your walking you can hear the velcro slightly separating. The company addressed the issue and sent me out an updated diver with double the velcro surface. This improved it by 80%. Other than that there's zero issues with this bag. This bag is very well made, turns heads and one of those purchases you won't regret. It's not cheap but nothing that comes out of Germany is. Because they value design, materials and functionality over price.

Dani Diamond Dana, thanks for the prompt response! I for one am so tired of the Kickstarter, “we designed a bag because we could not find one that worked.” There is design ethic to the bag I like. Once again, thanks.

@@johnLee-bb2do I agree with you. There is no perfect bag. If you get this I think they make a water bottle holster you can get as an ad on. You can also get waist straps.

I'd say this is a hybrid bag. Can be used for travel or everyday but I think targeted audience are explorers, hikers and the like.
