Would a sussur flower neutralize the Netherese magic protecting the tadpole, thereby making Volo's surgery work? (From a lore perspective, I know it won't work in-game.) I don't think it would since antimagic field doesn't work on magic from artifacts (as in the highest tier of magic item. Not all magic items are artifacts) in 5E, and the crown is an artifact.

Well, personally i like shadowheart's reaction in this scene the most... and i'm actually surprised by this reaction at this point in the game. She tries comforting you when you lost part of yourself... as a worshipper of shar. Yet another point for my interpretation of her character of being a person torn between what she has been tough and who she is. I also like Laezel reaction, she also is supportive... in her own way. Meanwhile Astarion is being this friend that has to make a nasty remark. And gale is being a nerdy wizard as usual. The only reaction i don't love is wyll... but maybe he has better responses for other options.
