That's a very stagnant enemy. Makes one wonder why they bothered to place the tracks on them. The US Army is very lucky to be able to rely on the technology of GPS, the M1 and a very dumb down enemy, because in the time of the M60, outcomes were much different at the NTC. (Camp/Fort Irwin OPFOR 82-83 + Operation Steel Scorpion 79). As those years past, our OPFOR role became increasingly limited in our mobility tactics, as the leadership became dedicated to staging us as immobile, without the use of secondary positions, dead space for drawn in close fighting, abandoning Soviet doctrine of battle as soon as the engagement began. It's really good our enemies in reality didn't know what they were doing in abandoning the Soviet swarm mentality and marriage of mass artillery to tactic. With such a reliance on air power and electronics, maybe there still needs to be a secondary set of tactics when the UFOs shut all the battlefield power down, which is something I never thought I'd have to say until the "Tik-Taks" showed up LOL. (Training NCO C Co. 6/31 INF NTC "back in the day").

@@milmex317th fulda's a meme soviet plans show they would've focused elsewhere, not the fulda least, if what's left is accurate. Which, y'know, hypothetical war scenarios a few decades outta date prob would be.

So, what was the alternative? Giving fighters more leeway to move around and counter attackers, or...?

@@Wiercik102 no problem lmao! SB pro is available for personal use also but is expensive at 100 dollars, but it simulates brigade sized armies so I would recommend
