Since its introduction,the Smart fortwo has been the undisputed winner in the smallest car category. Loved or hated,no one could deny that the Smart showed how small a small car could be. In 2009,the Smart finally got some serious competition. Toyota's tiny IQ is a shade larger than the Smart,but seats four people instead of just two. drive it! tester Mathis Kurrat put the two minis side-by-side to see how they compare.

You should be sitting behind the front passenger after pushing the seat forward a little bit as the design allow for such configuration by eliminating the glove box. This is how the iQ should seat three adults, however, there could still be a lack of adequate headroom.
