I've been thinking of getting a cheap winter runaround, and finally thought of the iQ. Searched for reviews and saw yours :) youve kinda sold me on them, I knew they were cool and quirky and different (which is super important for car guys right), but I hadnt realised they were more plush and better quality inside than your average city car. And all that equipment! No doubt if I get one it wont have any of that, but pretty cool it was an option

Love the iq. Often compared to the smart cars. Tried both and the iq is more comfortable

Great little cars, that have a lot of the features of larger cars, except of course the performance, but the economy makes up for that. This more of a Daihatsu that a pure Toyota, but this is what they were good at, small cars. I wonder if they ever did a turbo version of this...

good question, I dont think anywhere to carry one. In saying that my last 3 cars have not had a spare wheel either

@@CarsofGlasgow Remove the so-called boot at the rear. Move some tools to under the rear seats. Fold the rear seats down to make the car a 2-seater. Then buy aused Yaris space-saver wheel and ram it down at the back. Mine fits, safely well-down so that it can't shoot forward in a collision. It's passed the MOT for the last 5 years. It's madness to produce cars without a spare wheel.
