Ortiz2300 yes the P is for Platinum edition which comes with all the luxury features.

The P was only used on late model 2015 Platinums.

I dont know if platinum ir really worth the money over primium. I love premium cognac leather and black vs just all black on platinum.

Hi Amy, thank you for your comment. Unfortunately, the only options on the Premium are powered running boards and dvd. Kick release is not available on the Premium.

Wayne Ulery My mother owns a 2016 Escalade Premium, and it certainly has it. I've watched multiple videos, and I've actually seen a base model come equipped with it.

It's odd; I've seen Platinums that have the retractable running boards as well as standard ones. Similarly, I've seen non-Platinums that have the retractable running boards, and some that don't. I guess it's just not "standard" regardless?
