Fairyland has seam lines, yet my Resinsoul doll, cheapest of the cheap, has none. That IS odd.

The 3D printers are amazing! They’re getting better and cheaper. We will be able to print our own dolls one day soon. Can you imagine, say to yourself,”Think I’ll make me a doll today!” Love that tech ❤️💯

I hope that's me in 10 years ... Hey I'm bored let's print a doll 😍

You can already make it if you know 3d sculpting, it might take more than a day tho.

My daughter and I bought a 3 D PRINTER to possibly make a doll or two for ourselves ( not going commercial) I am well into my 80s and 2nd or 3rd childhood ! I have always loved dolls! I used to make my own paper dolls ! More for the creative fun of them ! I am currently waiting on a male doll my DAUGHTER is getting for my BIRTHDAY 👵🏻shhhh! She doesn’t know I know! ! I have learned some interesting things about 3D printed dolls versus a cast doll ! Thank you for sharing your valuable information ,I truly appreciate your sharing your knowledge with us ! ❤❤🙀👵🏻😱🖖🏼👽🐲

The expansion and refinement of 3D printing into BJDs is fascinating! I love the porcelain resin head. Beautiful!

I've been doing some research on casting because I'm planning on trying to self cast my doll when it gets to that point. My brother works regularly with casting resin lego pieces so he is going to help me. There seem to be a few different ways to cast doll limbs. Some require drilling and others don't. I think these dolls are so pretty.

I have to limit my AG videos because KZbin likes to flag them as children's videos, and I have to keep my channel mostly adult oriented. There will be more coming about Courtney though 🥰

I have one resin printed doll, murphy from mishi's dolls (spain), and I'm a bit bothered by the lack of details, especially the nails on her fingers that are just painted, there's no "shape" for them, no indentation in the resin to look like nails. Just basic shape of fingers. Seamlines don't bother me, especially the white skin and normal skin that can be sanded very easily. On tan or colored skin, it's harder, you can sand a bit, but too much and the color will go off. But I can live with a bit of seamlines. Lack of details bothers me though. I really love my murphy's sculpt, it's such an interesting face, so I don't think I'll resell her, but then again, that lack of details is annoying.

Just thought I'd let you know as a 3D artist, that things like her nails not being detailed at least to a degree might be because they didn't sculpt detailed fingers. >: You might get a different result with a different model.
@EllyseaAndDolls3 жыл бұрын
@@MissyMona yes yes,.I know,.that's why I'm bothered by it but the face and hips of the doll are exactly what I like, so I'll keep her, and I'll try painting nails

That’s on the actual digital sculpt, the artist maybe didn’t have as much experience there?
