Comparing Aerobatic Maneuvers With and Without Rudder

This video compares aerobatic routines with and without rudder to help aerobatic pilots better understand that rudder is primarily a “refinement” added to otherwise good maneuvers.
With good fundamentals, such as wings level entries, and pulling into upright rolls and pushing into inverted rolls, quality aerobatics are possible without rudder. And despite this model being set up with far lower rates than most people fly with, when rudder is added, note how little rudder is needed most of the time.
The Ultimate Biplane was chosen for this demo since it is not nearly as easy to fly with precision compared to an unlimited monoplane that requires even less rudder.

I perform this demonstration weekly in my Intermediate and Advanced Aerobatic training courses and I assure you that the video mimics the real world precisely. @@1RCFlightSchool I've been flying model airplanes for 35 years, I'm a good pilot, and if you put an airplane in the knife-edge position and don't compensate, it will drop its nose... unlike what happens in this video. I understand and respect your experience and your opinion, I understand the use of the elevator in rolls, but in my experience, in my opinion thie simulator lacks in reality. The rooling circle is perfect possible ... keep the knife edge is not.

@@petyahawk The secret is, if you watch the video, discretely pulling into the 1/4 roll, or pushing out of inverted into the 3rd point
