Thanks Steven! I've flown full scale simulators and arcade flight games since I was a kid - I'm 38 now. I only got into hobby grade radio control in August of 2020. January of 2021 is when I decided to stop wrecking Timbers and do almost anything without crashing. That was a long learning curve of flying almost daily for six months. I only fly once or twice a week at most these days. A lot of the content you see on the channel now was shot a week in advance, minimum.

Holy crap I’ll never doubt your ability again. Bro my bad. On another video I commented that you had no skill or something like that(I don’t even remember context). Boy was I wrong. Thanks for this info 🤴. Pro tip for anyone who needs it: If you get confused when coming towards you, imagine a little model of your plane on the right stick. It’s going to mimic that imaginary model regardless of direction.

We got the Extra 300 yesterday. It started raining during radio set up. Looks like I wont be able to fly it for nearly a week. Argh. I'm thinking I'll run it pretty stock at first. I'm interested in the Harrier configuration on your set up video, but more importantly, this plane really should have come with onboard battery monitoring through the transmitter. Is that called telemetry? Sorry, I'm new to electrics. I see that you have set that up, but do I need to swap out receivers to do it? edit: I'm using an NX8.
@TwoBrosRC

You'll need to run a voltage wire to an AR637T or use an Avian 60 amp ESC connected to the stock AR631 receiver to get voltage telemetry.

@@TwoBrosRC ok I have 5 minutes of break: first of all when you do a snap roll you don’t have to hold up elevator but it’s just a tap and then only rudder and ailerons. Another important thing is to avoid changing rates and expo mid-flight. To master the 3D flight you have to build sensibilities around rates that you use during your entire 3D flight. The harrier should be done without using mix with ailerons but you have to achieve it only by using throttle and elevator. Another important suggestion is to start learning knife edge while speeding ‘cause in this manner you have to input a lot less rudder and you avoid correcting too much on planes non that balanced Btw that’s my point of view, I am open to any replies!
