I think the reason we got Paradox Magneton, Jigglypuff, and Misdreavus instead of Magnezone, Wigglytuff, and Mismagius is that they require an external influence to evolve (Thunder Stone/magnetic field, Moon Stone and Dusk Stone respectively), whereas all others just need to level up.

The in-game Paradox "lore" comes from a magazine about paranormal sightings and rumors, so most of it is just baseless theorycrafting beyond "something that looks like a 'mon described in the Scarlet/Violet Book has been spotted in the wild" Like, there's one issue that openly theorizes the Iron Jugulis came from a Hydreigon fucking a robot, so it's clearly not meant to be taken as fact

I’d hardly call ground/fighting the best offensive typing when flutter mane exists. Ghost/fairy literally has 0 resists. The only think that can resist it’s typing is normal/poison, normal/fire, and normal/steel all of which don’t exists.

I think the reason the some of the past pokemon are "not fully evolved" is because they are "unnatural" evolutions, in other words they require a trainer to evolve and in the distant past, wigglytuff, Magnezone, and Mismagius didn't exist.

Ngl I used spdef roaring moon on a team, since it gets roost and u turn, and it is surprisingly useful. Good answer to chi yu or gholdengo, in fact it will always walk chi yu unless it’s specs Tera blast fighting. Even in sun it eats up specs overheat because protosynthesis boosts spdef so it doesn’t even take 50%. And when you Tera fairy you can take on certain mons like dragapult. I don’t think it’s amazing but it is a great counter for certain special attackers.
