Love my Talion, I put on a pair of dboots pincers to give it greater ground clearance. It's a Truggy that's the big difference, built for track racing. It grabs the Earth and accelerates like an animal. It soars through the air rather than flipping.

Very good explanation dude 🙂 I bought the right car 😁👏👏 Arrmor Kraton v4 6s is the one for me. There's more than enough speed even with as you said with the stock pinion and it will go over rougher terrain than all the rest. They're all very good cars but the Kraton suite my style to a tee! The handling is out of this world once you swap the Arrmor servo for something more powerful, JX 21kg servo I've got and it does the business and at under £20 is an absolute bargain. It's great on tarmac, grass and dirt but it belongs on the gravel and that's where it performs best in my opinion with the standard copper head 2 tyres installed. When you set the punch on the ESC to 9 (maximum) wheelies are on command and fun begins by squeezing the handset trigger 😁 No doubt I've chosen the right car for me guys, I hope you find what's good for you 😉 peace 👊👊👍

Great video. In summary, Talion is all speed/stability, Outcast/Notorious more for stunts and durability on impacts and Kraton is a mix of both.

Yeah Jeremy! I've Loved the Black Notorious ever since I first saw It but I'm just learning to jump & bash with my 3S Big Rock & I Don't need all the Wheelie pulling when Bashing! Happy I have an Outcast s4. Punch lvl. 2 makes it not too bad for managing wheelies. Once at medium/high speed can give it the full squirt for a high speed wheelie. Love it. Great video .

May I add that all the Arrma BLX series have all got a lot of problems like the diffs are not that strong, the chassis bends, servo mount is weak, towers also bend, arms break, arm pins bend, diff case cracks or rips out the screws out that are holding it onto the chassis, servo is weak and needs to be upgraded, the ESC catch's fire or burns out, I've seen a few motors get burned out, and now the new Spektrum radio is so bad that people are buying a better radio than what comes with the car. At the end of the day, if you want your Arrma to be tough, you need a lot of upgrades that in total for just the upgrades cost more than the car itself. Personally, I can buy an upgraded X Maxx and spares NEW for the same amount of money, until Armma fix these issues I'm not buying one.

Meh....a few points to consider..... 0.) LOLOLOL an Xmaxx is 930$ with no upgrades so.... yeah I am not buying that statement. 1.) when your reading a concentration of posts where people collaborate on forums and on Facebook, it would seem these cars are simply that terrible, because all of the info is in one place 2.) any RC car could suffer many of these issues the way people send them 40 feet in the air at 60MPH, you act like we are cruising down the road not jumping or hitting anything... ZOMG Everyone is a perfect driver right..... at 50+MPH .... 3.) Arrma just released the V4 Kraton that addresses some of the weak areas people have found including a tower to tower brace to help keep the chassis from bending. 4.) I agree with you about the radio and I think a new radio would be warranted no matter which RTR you have. the Tactic radio was better though. 5.) The servo is Terrible and should be one of the first upgrades. 6.) Several issues like motors burning out are the consumer's fault for going up in pinion gears when the stock is fine. Almost every time I see a convo about pinion gears people are sizing up to see who has the biggest pinion, but wonder why you fry ESC and Motors.... 7.) I am not sure why I wasted my time writing all of this, but I am trying to give you a respectful and helpful reply, but I fear you might just wanna troll and waste my time. In Conclusion.... Meh...

The Rc Collaborative Jeremy Hopkins first of all you would spend about £1200 on upgrading an armma kraton to where you have almost no problems Secondly I have done allot of research in the arrma cars and they all have the same problems, like the transmission is unreliable, the gears break, drive shafts bend etc Look up a channel called Kevin talbot, he has shown that the x Maxx is seriously tough, just watch his x Maxx videos and you would understand and we are talking about armma blx series, and I do agree they are tough in comparison to other rc cars but, I don’t really care if I’m comparison this car is allot better, I only care about it not breaking every time I run it and being reliable and EASY TO WORK ON and the arrma kraton v4 centre brace does work but people have still bent the chassis to where it is bending the centre drive shaft. Thirdly the esc does not have temp control, and neither does the motor, hobby wing have invested in when the esc gets too hot it shuts off and you can also get the systems that have temp control on the motor and esc, it’s called idiot proof In conclusion arrma is a really good brand and they make very good products, but they are cheap on the quality of parts and make a very similar platform every time they come out with a new model, if you look at rich super bash he has had to shim all of his diffs because arrma are incompetent at making their gears mesh correctly, and they cannot make a diff case that meshes gears either, and do not make a chassis and towers that are strong. As where as traxxas x Maxx has no problems with diffs, does not have a chassis that bends or breaks, is very easy to work on, requires about 4 upgrades, esc, servo, rear carrier and rpm pins. And at the end of the day you spend about 1200 including batteries on a car that from what I’ve seen and that has been proven over and over again is one of the best rc cars you can buy. Yes it is plastic but plastic chassis has been proven to be more reliable than a metal. But you have created an really fun debate about this topic 👍

Got the kraton and slash 2wd. Love them both. No problems out of the slash but first run on my kraton one of the back shock ends came loose. No biggie. Going to order the rpm ends. Sc trucks just look more real bro. Power is power though lol

I put 80k in front and rear diff and 500k in the middle diffs 60 in front shocks and 50 rear for bashing There are many combinations

Your forgetting that all of the 185blx arrma vehicles are seriously powerful. Therefore your choice should not even be considering speed. In my opinion , choose based on what you want to do with the vehicle. All of the vehicles are equally robust except for the Kraton is longer and has a weaker chassis because of this. So out of box tailion typhoon for speed road and flat or mild off road. And the mt should be the highest pick because it does stunts the best rtr and can still go 60 mph rtr. Great vids. Keep it up

That was the whole point of my video was that that are the same power it just depends on how you want to drive it Also huge difference between power and being able to use it for speed If you give an outcast full throttle from a stop it will flip over you need to baby the throttle before you can think about going full speed or full throttle where an talion will take it easy. Haboy Nuke If you have to get Arrma and want to race it then the Talion is your best bet. If you’re not stuck on Arrma for a race truggy then it really depends on your budget. The Serpent Cobra 811t is a very good rtr truggy with a good upgrade option for the future and is around 520$ rtr. The Hobao SST is also a decent rtr truggy. If you’re willing to spend what ever you want then the Mugen Seiki is top tier. The Tekno et410 is also a really top tier race truggy as well.

If your worrying about jumping the Notorious and being able to control it in the air don't. it will have the most control out of all cars in the air, it will be very sensitive to throttle and brake.

Any issues let me know, Ill help you the best I can the V4 Has some upgrades such as a tower to tower chassis brace, improved servo saver, I think a different ESC, and an adjustable motor mount like the hot racing which is really nice for adjusting pinion gears.
