Do you have any idea why on the Silkstone Fashion Packs it says "Not for use with other Barbie Dolls"? I bought Skiing Vacation Barbie Fashion from 2004 and I put it on a Barbie from 1994. Will I be sent to Mattel prison for it?

Haha! Did it fit?? I'm not entirely sure whey they say that on the Fashion Packs. I'm assuming it's because the Silkstone body is its own unique body although it is similar to other bodies. So perhaps they want to give customer fair warning so they don't rip/ruin the clothes trying to get other dolls to wear it.

It did beautifully. The clothes are very stretchy and the trousers are actually a bit loose. I wonder if I buy an actual dress if it will fit her. Silkstone dresses are amazing... but so expensive.

This was really helpful. I prefer the traditional Silkstone body, and planned to swap the newer articulated ones with traditional bodies. I was worried the fashion might not fit, but after seeing this, perhaps I will proceed with the swap. Thanks for such an informative video!

I'm really glad you showed the difference in the dolls. I had no idea that the articulated Silkstones were slimmer than the older Silkstones. I like the older ones better because they had more hips😊😊😊

I can try! Though I know that they don't fit so well because Poppy's bust is smaller than Silkstones. FR dolls can wear Silkstone fashions pretty well but they're a bit short on them.

I think they're Fashion Royalty doll stands, he might have mentioned it in another video, and you can get them from Ebay, they're usually sold by lots with affordable prices 🤗

The National Barbie convention is held in JULY every year (time varies but AVERAGES around the 3rd week in July) and the location changes every year. This year, the National Barbie Convention is in HOUSTON, TEXAS from July 19-July 22. The theme is BLAST OFF WITH BARBIE (thus why it is in Houston - that is where the space museum is). Can you tell me the height of the Silkstone Barbies please. I've read 14" but mine only measure 11.8". Are the smaller ones authentic because I see them being resold for large sums and I don't want to buy a fake.

I don’t know of any Silkstone Barbies that are 14 inches tall. All Silkstones I know of are 12” dolls.
