I LOVE it!!!! I live for your tutorials! Honestly, washing the hair is one of my favorite things, i find it therapeutic, but now a mani/pedi?!? AHdorbs :) I recently unboxed my "Cocktail Dress Siltstone" and followed your tutorial on how to press her dress out, I love it! I had been using a steamer until then, but never got the same results (I steam clothes for a living, lol, so it's my go-to). Have a good week and thank you :)
@SureshNYC6 жыл бұрын
Aww that's great! Yes, I love a good steamer. However, I find at this scale, a press works much better. So happy I'm able to help :) xoxo

You turnt up her GWARGGGJASSSness by 1000000x ... your hands are truly delicate and artistic.. I’d be spazzing all over the place lol 😩 Great gob! PS - I have heard of this product called “Goo Gone” which is an anti-adhesive coz those collector dolls from 2000s have such a horrid glue seepage problem coz of glue head. You soak the hair for two hours and apparently it gets rid of all glue. She looked like she didn’t have that much of an issue to begin with but I have a few who have literal gunky sticky hair ugh.
@SureshNYC7 жыл бұрын
Thanks doll face! Yes, I have used Goo Gone on some other items before. Have not heard about the hair trick but good to know, thanks for sharing! :) xoxo

I burned two gowns made of tulle because I tried to iron them with the setting of cotton. LOL.
@tinman7217 жыл бұрын
Good to know! Sorry that happened to you.
@SureshNYC7 жыл бұрын
Yikes! Always use a low heat setting with tulle -- generally synthetic/polyester setting is best. Good luck!
What a difference it makes to have some mani and pedi! I have a magnifying lamp and its very useful for the little details in painting (Link: a.co/3VCcs2s) She is so Oscars Red Carpet ready. And goodness you are so patient in handling your dolls -- it is, and I was looking for the right word for it -"inspiring" because I see another perspective to the doll and how they could possibly be. I also love it that you did the entire demo in your coat -- gives it a little class, Suresh. I just love your elegance! After having followed your videos for quite some time (believe you me, I listen to them even while I'm driving), Mattel should send you free dolls to review. I know I returned to Silkstones because of your videos and am almost done collecting all the voluminous gowns. Love them all. I feel somehow complete haha. Delphine is still supreme. She is the mother of all Silkstones for me. Also thank you for the bonus video. I was surprised and wowed when I got notified. They are my "stop work, relax and watch a Suresh video". PS I can't wait till you do a video of "In the Pink" Silkstone. Have you seen the role models Barbies? I find it such Marketing/PR genius to present the dolls as a tribute (almost trophy-like) to a diverse set of women. It's so now, relevant and empathetic to what we all need to understand. They should do a Suresh Mattel doll for you and what you do. Pardon the lengthy and rambling comment. Just love your vids. Thanks and have great week!
