One should be aware that most packages are not hermetically sealed. Better said, fluids are able to penetrate to the interior of the chip via the leg/lead interface

I've often thought it might be effective to try creating a jig to hold a chip and a Dremel tool so it can be precisely passed over chip's legs with a selected bit in a controlled manner, maybe with Arduino controlled stepper motors. You know, you press a button and the Dremel makes maybe 10 or so shallow passes back and forth on the legs coated with polishing compound... you inspect the legs to see if it did the job... if not you press the button again and it does another cycle of passes, etc. Very controlled so you don't do more damage than good but easily repeatable enough without tedious physical effort so that doing it over and over again isn't too much a headache.

Increasing sample size may produce results more in line with expectations. Maybe 3 chips for each process?

Thought you was gonna make some 551 lol. 500ml water 50 ml proxcide 1 ounce of citric acid. Used for cleaning copper idk why i know that Nice vid bud leave them chips sit a year now. Youve already force aged them now let nature take its coarse!!!!!
