Actually, its probably moreso because a set of L3HARRIS GPNVG-40 "QuadNods" use gen 3 UV amplifier tubes, which, are illegal to film through. In other words, if he did that, hed be commiting a federal crime.

To clarify, I have used the GPNVGs, and I noticed that cheap knockoff NVGs you can buy from Amazon shine very brightly and you can tell where the user is. However, if you use either the GPNVGs or the cheap NVGs to look at someone using the GPNVGs, you can barely see their location.

I have the third $500 one that I got off Temu for like $150ish-$200 that's slightly different. It was a 2.5K quality camera that had a laser and both Non-NV and NV mode and could record and take photo's. Although it's always zoomed in even though it's at the lowest zoom. The Camera is meant to be for outdoor documentaries like on the box.
