I have a 2021 Polaris XP 1000 4, and have just upgraded my buggy: Front sway bar and link; rear sway bar and link; and new coils. That said, off of jumps the nose is still a bit heavy. The shocks…which are the Walkers…are set at 8. If I bump that to 12…will that help level it out. For everyone reading this and trying to decide if the upgrades mentioned above are worth it: The sway bars and links are night and day difference; the coils…still a massive increase in performance. For me, the quality and benefit to Shock Therapy equipment is so great I’m going to continue upgrading with their products: Frame supports, radius arms, and the Ride Improvement System.

Aaron. Thank you for your feed back. Glad you love it. To your question. The stiffer you run the front and the softer you run the rear the more the nose will fly higher off of jumps. Also, try more throttle off the rump ramp. You can lower the front cross over ring 1/2 to 3/4” and raise the rear cross over ring the same. This will have the same affect as stiffening the adjusters when jumping. Last, a front limit strap will help too. It softens the Extention clunk that can pull the front down when it hits. Hope this helps. Enjoy!

This was a great video to help decide what version Maverick I want. It sounds like Smart Shox is just not worth the extra money, potential failures and lack of as much adjustability as the IQS system. Also happy to just find out you are in Phoenix.

Maybe I've just missed it, but why don't you guys build your full own in-house shock with all the work you guys do to other shocks? I mean I get the reason to focus on the big OE shocks because that's what the majority have...... or maybe I missed it and you guys do build your own for public sale..... currently going to be doing a 64 to 72 swap on my x3 and looking for shocks, new set of fox are 3500 give or take then I'd like to send them to you guys after that cost I'm in them almost as a much as say a set of kings or elka stage 5. Just wondering if you guys built something that kinda cut the middle man out take make a bit more affordable price! Super happy with what your guys stuff did for my current QS3 shocks.

They are going to say non smart shox and to go with there iqs. I had a x3 max non smart but am upgrading To the 2022 model with 32s and 200hp with smart shox. Thankfully I never rolled it but I think the smart shox will help reduce body roll and the likelihood of rolling. Can am needs to add a screen like the dynamix has.

All of the above. The red sand whoops will melt stock shaft seals so you need the Viton upgrade there. Springs and internals will make it amazing in that race.

As to upgrading cost for the Dynamix shocks...if someone was going to buy a crashed car....depending on what was damaged...and hypothetically swap out multiple resources...such as the shocks and 181 HP motor to an original 4 seat RZR...would that make the idea more affordable.
@ShockTherapyllc3 жыл бұрын
No. Any Dynamix will be a bitch to swap. Multiple wire looms, ecus and sensors cause a lot of fabrication issues. Get it wrong abd your chasing electrical gremlins that prevent the shocks from working. Just what I’ve seen from others trying it

Justin: what upgrades would you recommend for a brand spankin' new totally stock 2021 RZR Turbo S 4-seater with Dynamix (Fox) shocks.........spring kit? valving? sway bar links? teflon lined rod ends? sway bar frame supports? I'm in Lake Havasu City AZ and I ride desert trails and washes moderately aggressively for fun. I want my ride to be plush and also very dependable. Thanks for any input you are willing to provide, good sir!
@ShockTherapyllc4 жыл бұрын
I would say spring and shock work first. Get the ride quality your looking for. Then frame supports and sway bar links. Front limit straps are a must to stop noise and save the shocks. After that just follow my normal suggestions. Safety first. Belts, seats possible cage. The rest of the car is built quite well and should put up with Havasu just fine. Good luck

Sorry I should have mentioned them. They are basically the same as the dynamic but technically they are smarter in some ways. Unfortunately they don’t perform like it. Smarter or not the Dynamix system rides better by far than the Honda does.

I I have the shock therapy springs and I'm sending my shocks in to do a rebuild and revalve in June, the one thing I'm worried is the ECM for the shocks not being upgraded. I have a 2018 dynamics which is the first year of the system and what I've read and been told is the newer software helps a ton with the shocks riding better. Could anyone elaborate on this ? Anyway I could update the software as well ?
@ShockTherapyllc3 жыл бұрын
The only place that can flash the ECU is the dealer at this time. I am not aware of this being done to upgrade it to the newer year software but I don't see why not. I would ask one and see. That being said, I have not seen a large improvement in the function of the software. The shocks, internally are different between the years and this difference is mostly what feels better comparing the two. These things all change with our internal work so no matter which year you have, they will ride the same amount of awesome when we are done.
