Man once I decided to get my hands on Elise (as a F2P player), I realized how hard it would be to ascend her. Now she seems much, MUCH more achievable if we compare ascending her with ascending Ludwig lol

Yeah, she certainly is. I got Elise through the trial of knights event. Since then, I've gotten enough copies of her to ascend her to 7 stars. Waiting for opportunities to get more of her 😇

I have none of them, I’m still too weak to build a decent ground march. But I’m working on generals, as of now I have Trajan as main and I recently got Aurelian. What do you think of Aurelian? I can keep working on that pair? Thanks again for the help and the good work. Best videos hands down

As a freeloader, I need a dragon-free general. Scipio is available in Trial of Knights and I have over 1760 ares gems. Now to decide which general(s) to ascend.

Glad to help. In my case, I have both Elise and Ludwig but I'm still using Elise as my main. Too difficult to get Ludwig without spending lots of cash 😅

As a Freeloader, it is Trajan for me, and I have not done anything with him (have not been working on Ground, Keep 35 is far more important since it leads to Academy and Stable 35 which is far more important at this time for me).

That’s true, but when you get the opportunity to pick up one of these premium generals in events, it’s something to take advantage of 👍 I got my Elise through the Trial of Knights event 😉

@@RedEvony While it is true that riding a premium horse through a parade would be cool, I can not see riding it into battle when I can not ascend it. As it is, Trajan will be hard enough to ascend. I feel fortunate to have been able to ascend Ethel once. So for now, I stick with what I can more easily get and work on them. Keep up the great work and as always, a great thank you for what you do for us.

@@BuckeyeNut123 Thanks Don 😊🙏 and yeah, you do have a point (lol at the horse analogy 😂) For those of us that don't have thousands of dollars to pump into the game, that is an honest reality of what is going on. Even with that though, I think we can be "somewhat" optimistic that generals on offer in events like Trial of Knights have a good chance of coming around again. For now, just keep it as a consideration 😉👍

Excellent video love your content. I just started fixing my ground March. ELISE does seem to pair with Trajan if she is the leading general. But they pair if Trajan is the lead general

Thank you 🙏 Yeah, they pair both ways, but you would prefer to have Elise as the main general because her base stats and Ascensions are better than Trajan’s. Also because she requires dragon 👌

I've never been lucky enough to get scipio.. I have elise. I think she is good but she is difficult to pair with an assistant.. I really want soult as assistant. But no luck yet. As always, great video brother 💪🏼💪🏼

Yeah, Ludwig is awesome. Would make a great main general. The only problem is that because of how premium he is, getting extra copies and fragments for Ascension will be extremely difficult without opening up your wallet 😅

Hi 👋 I haven’t taken a very close look at Aurelian, but I think he should be close to Elise in terms of stats. Not sure how compatible he is with other generals, but I know he doesn’t pair with Elise iirc. So I guess he’s an alright general 👍 The problem with Aurelian is that I suspect he will be harder to ascend than the other two generals. I have all 3 of them, and I’m using Elise. I think they are all good generals, so feel free to pick your preference 😉👍

If you are already invested into Scipio, then no need to switch. He is still a very good general and he will get the job done 👌 As for comparing Godzilla and Thebes,.... there's not much comparison to be made there. Thebes is much better 100% 👍

@@RedEvony It is when comparing whether one has the ground dragon or not. Elise only gets her full potential with a dragon. Scipio is a viable option for those without Norway Ridge. However, once you have Norway Ridge, then it's a moot point as you would use it with either general. And since the comparison is fully awakened, I can't imagine anyone being able to fully awaken them without also having Norway Ridge. So I suppose my entire argument is somewhat pedantic.

I’ve been using Elise for some time now, so it’s likely I was using her then. Ludwig pairs well with Alessandra and Trajan. I guess there are other pairings, but these two I know of 👌

AKA, say you already have all specialities almost done for a general. But you'll like to switch to another, how much of your runestones do you get back from dismissing that general

Unfortunately not much, quite an insignificant amount tbh 😑 Consider it as fully investing in a brand new general again. That’s why most people advise that when you have a good general that you have worked on, it would be best to keep going with them so as to avoid all the effort being wasted. However, if you do really want to switch, then that’s fine, just be prepared for it 👌 One thing you could look at is if your current general could be used as an assistant for the new general. That way, all the specialties wouldn’t be wasted 😉👌

Personally, I think either is a good option. Yes, based on their stats Elise looks better, but Scipio is still a great general. 👌 Right now, Ludwig is too difficult to get to be used as a main ground general. Little hope of ascending him either unless you are spending a lot of money 😅

Ludwig can be had in the hall 2 general chests every week in the general invitation event?

I think so, would have to confirm to be sure. But he is not one of the generals that has an increased chance. So the chance of getting him in the chest is about 2% iirc, and that’s after getting 500 invitations for 1 token (either through saving up or buying the $100 general token pack)

Perhaps it’s because of the skill books you have on Scipio. I recently had a similar issue with using Trajan as assistant with my Elise. You might have to rearrange the skill books you have 👌
