I've been studying french in Paris at various schools for the past 6 months. Your 10 minute tutorials are clearer than 3 hours daily with a french teacher. I think i'm overpaying. Thank you!

How did it go? I am doing mine in two months and feeling pretty apprehensive. Any tips? Hope you did well
@murrenkelly38662 жыл бұрын
@@to_discover_life All of my speaking finals in French courses have gone well so far! My professors have usually given me a list of example questions, so I prepared by writing out how I’d respond to each of them. I then met with another French student and challenged myself to have the conversation out loud in addition to writing it down. If your instructor doesn’t provide examples, I’m sure there are some online.

Very useful. I've been learning French with Duolingo and now that I've reached the end of my tree and gone over it several times I'm branching out to other places which can help reinforce what I've learned and fill in the gaps. Your videos are so much fun as well as being well structured. Thank you so much for all of your hard work.

Hi there, I'm taking a French course in my country and I love watching your videos to reinforce everything I'm taught, though I have a doubt with sth very simple and I cannot find a video about it. It's about the prepositions IN/AT as in "The girl is at the gym" at the confuses me. Well, hope you get to read this, thx.
@kevinbarreau96727 жыл бұрын
It would be "La fille est à la salle de sport" ^^ I think that almost every time there is "at" in English, you would replace it with "à" in French. For "in", for instance "she's in the garage" would be "elle est dans le garage" so here "in" is replaced with "dans" in French which indicates that she's inside the garage. But for a country like in "I'm in China", you would not use "dans" but "en" like "Je suis en Chine" and not "Je suis dans Chine" ^^

So the sound for 'I will walk' (marcherai) and 'would/could/should walk' (marcherais) is the same ? Also is my interpretation of 'conditional' correct ie. 'would/could/should' ? Important but subtle difference in meanings ! Thank u

Have means done , so we use avoir in past tense before the verb means the verb is done, in the future avoir after the verb means like to be done soon or later. This is the easy way to code for me :)
@ayarbjle2 жыл бұрын
One more pattern which I think you did not mention is that the stem of future tense + the ending of imparfait = the conditional
