Comparing Hot Pink, Purple & Red Variegated Japanese Maples

I have a Shirazz that I planted 4 years ago. It's now about 8 feet tall and it is the most stunning tree on our property. Beautiful pink coloring in the spring, then slowly changes to green and white variegation through the summer, then bright pink color in the fall. It's summer time here in zone 8b, and the Shirazz gets hit with several hours of afternoon sun, yet doesn't seem to mind at all. It's sporting lots of cream color this year and it just glows. Outstanding cultivar.

Under a freeze warning tonite! My Japanese Maple is right out my front window. If I use a bed sheet and put a fan in the window blowing out on it, would that help?

Baby Ghost is the smallest and smaller foliage. Maybe Amber for difference but it is faster growing

The confusion is between Lileeanes Jewel and Rainbow Pink. Do a demonstration between these two.

Lileeanes Jewel is superior to ‘Rainbow’ because it reverts less. ‘Rainbow’ is a little darker red compared to the more bright red of Lileeanes Jewel. Different leaf shape also. Maybe I’ll run a short in them both

I have Lileeanne's Jewel in full sun in 7b. Seems to handle sun and heat well. A few days over 100 already. I had another in a shadier location that was wetter and it did not do well at all, moved it. #maplesrule boys drool ent wyfe will win
