Helical, suggestion: Make a quiz, where different ranks see a part of a play and then it stops. Then they have to choose between 3 options what they would do or think what would be the best thing to do. The point of this is to educate and to showcase the thoughts of the different ranks. Cheers :)

Low plats are basically golds with better shooting accuracy and power, but in high plat/low Diamond I find that a decent amount of them start actually practicing mechanics

@@guitarguy8793 you wouldn't know the huge difference in skill between at low plat and gold 2/3, the aerials are much faster, and they hit the ball, their passes are WAY better, they can actually start hitting balls from the walls, and can actually save shots

@@natsuno. I wouldn’t know? Lol? I’m Diamond 2 or 3 in every mode but 1s where I’m D1. Almost no one is fast aerialing in low plat, passes are still just “throw the ball in front of the net” they might be a little better at it, but there’s still no careful placement and very little cross field ground passes. The might be able to occasionally hit the ball off the wall when it’s flat, but they don’t do backboard/wall clears, and can’t pass accurately off the wall and 98% of them can’t yet set up simplistic air dribbles yet. I’m not shitting on them, it takes a lot of time to develop mechanics and timing (as high Diamond I can confirm that I’m still trash).

tbh you should learn to half flip early on in gold so most plats should know it and speed flipping isn’t super hard but takes time to be consistent with, it’s good to know in any rank but isn’t really needed up until gc

Also, kind of hard to judge just by looking but one speedflip =/ another. For some reason you can do a speedflip and still be not nearly as fast as the guy who performs it differently. It's kind of neat, really. There's so many little variances and nuances in RLs mechanics (and its physics system) that it's still interesting *yeaaars* after release.

Personally, I recommend trying to use air roll buttons (ex. kbm is e and q) and learning it early. It will be more essential in the higher ranks and as such it is very helpful to learn it early.
