If you’re curious, Queso went on to win their next series against G2, but since G2 came from the upper bracket Queso need to win 2 series in the grand finals, and G2 prevailed in the second one to win the major. I was very happy for G2 even though Queso winning the whole thing would’ve been insane. All in all, I don’t think it takes away from how amazing this moment, and their entire tournament was.

I was in the stands when this happened, rooting for SSG like my life depended on it. The crowd's reaction to the [what they thought was a] goal and subsequent save was more electric than when G2 won. it's hard to describe the roller coaster of emotions everyone went through in the span of less than a second. Did not expect to see such a historic moment in my first LAN ever. heartbreaking moment as an SSG fan, but it showed the grit, determination and skill Queso displayed throughout the tournament. If it weren't for their poor group stage or the terrible format, I think Queso easily wins the tournament. These kids are going places

Vatira did just enough to buy every fraction of a second Rise needed, which was amazing on its own, but everyone who plays knows how many things couldve gone wrong to make that whole game go a different way. Team Queso, Rise, Vatira, and Joyo gained a big fan from NA. There dedication and drive was unbelievable fighting out of the trenches to forcing a grand final bracket reset, and almost having the championship was more than inspiring. I will be excited to see them play in the next major and I really hope they take a championship. They deserve it. True peak rocket league.

This LAN made me a huge fan of Queso. I think they have the highest peak, higher than G2. I just think that the lower bracket run really took a toll on them. You really noticed the fatigue in the second series against G2 from game 3 and onwards. That is why it is so important to be on your game in the group stage, to ensure an upper bracket spot.

Not to take anything away from G2, they played amazing all week...but that lower bracket run is an insane disadvantage....credit to C9 for pulling it off in S6, but I'm glad that format is over, it only gets exciting if it goes to a 2nd series (like it did here)....personally prefer grand finals on an even playing field

Props to G2 and the org has deserved a win for quite a while so ggs to them, but G2 had to win 3 series and Queso had to win 7, over half of which were played on the same day. I get the whole upper and lower bracket thing, but the fact that there is such a massive difference between coming first and second in the group stages is not great in my opinion. The advantage that the upper bracket teams have over the lower bracket is way too high, as proven by the fact that basically no one in the lower bracket has ever managed to win, I know a few have, but not enough to make it a fair enough split.

One thing that amaze me in this clip, is the composure of Rise. When he respawns, starts boosting towards the goal, takes a pad but keep some in the tank. Only to use the rest at the last moment in order to build up enough inertia so that, the ball gets cleared far enough when he saves it. Absolute beast.

He's one of the most seasoned and experienced pros there are. As well as joyo. He's on the level of competing with zen rn in terms of mechanical ability. Rise is also a legend. Fair play Sunless. It's a really tough decision to choose the best save when Chicago made a save in the finals where the ball fully stopped three quarters in the net where there was pressure on both sides; to put it in, and keep it out. I think that was the best save in Rocket League in my opinion, but this one is good too.
