Buying real Mesa amp is out of question for me. So plugin is the most sensible choice. I appreciate NDSP effort to recreate 2C+ in its entirety. But, I find it a little confusing with all the push pull knob. Off course I can read the manual, but if I want to tweak faster, I prefer a straight forward plugin like MLS fluff 2C.

Indeed a lot of perimeters to tweak but it also open up possibilities. I'm like you, so I go with the presets :D

the plugin has a certain airyness that I can't bother eq'ing on other amp sims. I find the "slugish" preset to be a good starting point for my tone.

Yes I was spending so much time trying to reduce that "air".. not quite there yet, so I demo everything with presets.
