I couldn’t post this on IG, think it was too long lmao. But I came here a couple weeks ago as someone who never saw GND and just recently fell in love with both of you, like I’ve never listened to that many podcast episodes so fast! It was so eye opening to learn about you and your lives back then, plus hearing your thoughtful insights now, the realizations you’ve had and wisdom you’ve gained. It’s clear as day you’re both highly intelligent and caring women, plus I love your friendship! I loved the first season so much! You guys had some cool and intriguing guests on and I think you did an amazing job covering your feelings and thoughts on each episode, both from back then and now. I can’t relate to the lifestyle you were living but I can relate to so many other things you’ve talked about, especially when you cover toxic/abusive relationships and body dysmorphia. You’ve both been through a lot and I’m glad you’re getting to say your piece now and get stuff of your chest. If I were you guys, I don’t think I could do it as gracefully and respectfully as you. The class and compassion you ladies have is so admirable! ❤️ Also, I just watched GND 2.01 (I’ve been also listening to Holly’s commentary on her YT now that I don’t have podcast episodes to alternate between haha) where it’s Hef’s birthday and first of all, wow Bridget was so gorgeous doing that dance. Like, my jaw dropped EVERY single time. She looked amazing (as she does now) and I was like “damn girl!” when she was practicing and performing! 😂 I loved all the outfits for Casablanca Night and the party! Something Kendra said at the beginning of the episode had me wondering though, and maybe this is a question you can answer once you cover this episode later on in season 2… but did you all celebrate your separate anniversaries with Hef or was that not a thing? And if so, did you guys count your move-in date as your dating anniversary with Hef? I’ve been wondering this throughout the first season of the podcast and am interested to know if your separate relationship anniversaries were ever acknowledged or celebrated, or did you just do birthdays and holidays? Anyways, love both of you. You’re both such badass beautiful bombshells and I have so much respect for you guys. I’m so here for whatever you have to come in the future! Looking forward to the final episode of season one with the producers, cannot wait to hear what they have to say! And most importantly, never shut up, Holly and Bridget! Your opinions and experiences, while maybe different from each other, are so valid and of equal importance. I also love hearing from other people and their perspectives as playmates, siblings, staff, etc because it just adds more value and diversifies the content. You all deserve to be able to have fun with this podcast. Thanks again for being here, your hard work is noticed and so appreciated! ❤️❤️❤️

Omg... I've said this once b4 but I doubt they saw it..I hope they read these though.. Me & my husband were early 20s when GND came out~ I think we're just 2-3 yrs. Younger than Holly... but I always saw her as our exact same age w/Bridget being just a few yrs our Senior. So we always felt on their level but saw Kendra as very young & immature (which has nothing much to do with what I'm about to say but)... As we were always into Playboy stuff growing up in 80s and 90s, we knew how it worked. The younger girls were always the most sought after. Him and I loved Bridget the most. We just thought she was a perfect age for the lifestyle and for Playboy model and the most beautiful. We always talked about how pretty her face was and how gorgeous a body she had. We definitely liked Holly 2nd though, as she was also just perfect body, & cute face. We honestly did not think Kendra was very cute at all. Her face was just plain and not very pretty . She did have a good body but it was no better in any way than these girls'. ..not even close to bein better. I think she was the young, loud and outgoing novelty for H.H. at the time, as a girlfriend. If she were just to outright test for Playboy though, I don't think for a second she'd be pretty enough to make it -- she wasn't anything special like they try to go for in the magazine. .

I just watched an interview where Kendra said “it seems like such long ago. Why am I talking about it? I don’t even know who those girls are anymore” and it hurt me so much because the girls next door is like such an iconic show why is she choosing to forget it?
@lunagabriella21327 күн бұрын
I've been mulling it over again, and either she led a whole 'nother life outside of the mansion, or she really disliked kind of being stuck there and living a persona rather than living as a person. Whatever she says is inconsistent too, so we're never going to know the truth until she figures it out herself. Her book was full of lies. I don't know why it would even still be in production. If I was genuinely sorry for putting that out, I would patch things up with Holly (she only did with Bridget) and get on here with them. The only other thing I can think of is that she's ashamed of it all because her kids have gotten older and she's trying to be the standard. I don't think she should be ashamed because this is how she met her kid's dad. They were created out of love. They might be divorced, but there was nothing but love. No one could argue that. I still feel awful for her that he cheated.

🎉😂 So this is where the brownies and cookies scene was! I was close lol. I remember Holly saying that Hef thought she wasn't photogenic, and that was his excuse for not putting her in the magazine. Either it was in the show or the very first podcast, but I definitely heard that. It made me sad. Now with Kendra mentioning any athletes, it was surprising hearing her talk about any of that when I watched everything the other month. It's really strange that Hef has such a tight leash, yet she could get away with shit. I'm not exactly blaming her, but it should've been..I guess touched on in a way..that he wasn't serious about her. I don't know. It was a weird dynamic. I also thought that her saying anything was her outing herself about not being into Hef, too. Why are you there?? So I don't see how anyone could've taken her seriously. It was also obvious by the end that she had cheated, but Hef didn't want to deal with it for whatever reason. I still don't understand their whole dichotomy, and it was definitely not romantic. It's still weird to have learned from this last Q&A that there were never any singular dates. I really dislike that.

Not to pit these ladies against each other but I remember these being my impressions on watching the show in real time back in the day, I was a preteen Bridgette - my favorite. Felt like your sweet, best friend and the most authentic person with real reactions. Intelligent and beautiful. Based on her interests, I related to her the most. Holly- I thought she came off very guarded (and now I understand why), choose her words very carefully and was pretty in the Playboy stereotypical way. Very "LA" girl to me if that makes sense. But then I learned she's also witty, creative, referential and loved the friendship her and Bridgette had. Kendra- a "pick me" before that was even a popular term. I disliked how she found a pair of panties that were brief style and probably a medium size and was grossed out and called them "granny panties" when they were just regular underwear idk. Despite her being the youngest, I didnt relate to her at all. 😂 even back then I noticed her extreme thirst for athletes and rappers was weird to me. Like, we get it, you like sports and chips- calm down. It was a constant theme she ate whatever she wanted yet still had an atheletic body type (and there are people with metabolisms like that but its very damaging to some young girls bc thats not always the case. You're shamed for having soft curves yet shamed for dieting and obsessively being active to achieve a toned body. Neither of these things are Kendra's fault but she was used as an example the most on the show run) To be clear, I love Holly & Bridgette and mean zero offense. Kendra, I hope she's doing well.
@actuallyNo... Жыл бұрын
Oms, I second this and felt identical to everything u just said... and omg, the whole "granny panty" thing... wow, I was sooo pissed when she did that. [& u damn well know that those were hers but she got embarrassed cause she left em put and the camera saw em!! Thur ain't no way she didn't wear regular panties at times!! She was such a poser. Always tryna put ppl down or act weird just to get attention & look cool. All she did was look like a very gross, immature person thow.]

😂❤ You got that summarization down! I think that's how most people saw and see them, at least from what I've paid attention to. I've been offended by friends and guys back in the day for making fun of my panties. I'm like what the actual fuck, because they are literally called BIKINI. Most women and girls wear bikini styled bottoms, especially swimsuits. I moved on from everyone lol. Took my so-called granny panties to my wonderful Viking boyfriend 😂😂

@kariwick-InnerPeaceCoaching Жыл бұрын
Hi Mari, Franken-bited is when they either splice together words the girls said in other conversations to fit the narrative they wanted, you can tell because it sounds choppy. Or they use a completely different conversation taken out of context/order, like they do when Bridget is upset about having to leave the photoshoot early for class and tells Hef about it later - didn’t happen like they portray it in the show. Hope that helps, Kari🌞

Holly, I suppose that you control this account. So please relay this message to Bridget: Kendra hated Terrell Owens after loving him initially because, after he left the Eagles, he became a Cowboy, a huge divisional rival.
@lunagabriella21327 күн бұрын
😂 T.O. can suck everyone's ass after playing for the Cowboys. Him and Romo together (right?) just let the team fail so hard that their reputation is still a huge pile of dog shit to this day. As I write this, the Lions whooped them at 47 v 9 last night 😂😂😂 One of the caveats of living in the northern part of Texas is that the Cowboys are worthless. As my mom says, all of the other sports teams are great, but the Cowboys suck.

When you two were talking about your bodies, no way was Kendra more sexy because she had a young boyish body with big fake boobs. Bridget had curves and an obviously natural body/boobs which would appeal to almost anyone. Holly, you have a great body but I truly think you look better now. Not so "tits on a stick" but with softer curves. Maybe that's from having babies? I definitely looked more curvy after having a baby & my boobs were bigger but I got gawd awful stretch marks.
