I definitely noticed the same energy as a viewer. Kendra not wanting to do certain activities or wear bunny costume, made it seem there was some sort of tension.

Kendra didn't want Bridget to show her up with the tennis 🎾 Bridget was good with the surfing, and doing the trapeze , and kendra bombed.. But the part with "can I borrow your tennis outfit? And by the way, YOU can't play with us". Full on mean girl energy but she's super insecure as well. She's really cringy!

Kendra always wanted to separate herself from Bridgette and Holly, which was even apparent on the show. She was always immature and had mean girl energy. Loving these podcasts! I am still in love with Playboy era because of the show. Bridgette and Holly have always been my favorite. I was getting my Master’s degree during the show as well.

Pig night probably comes from Pigalle, Paris, a prostitution area. It was quite famous to those who knew about WW2, the American soldiers called it "Pig Alley" because of the bad way they pronounced the French. Will Eisner has a character/ prostitute in the comic book, The Spirit, called P'Gell, coming from that same etymology.

Honestly, watching the show, even just one episode in, I didn't like Kendra. I feel like she was just extremely abnoxious, selfish and aggressive. Holly and Bridget made the show. I wish they would have given more screen time to Bridgett and Holly because they deserved it and are WAYYY more likeable and fun to watch their energy is just so much better.

I wonder how much influence Kendra's narc mother had to do with the division between the 3 girls. Possibly, narc mom didn't want K growing closer to Holly and Bridget because she loses power and control over her daughter. The mother was addicted to her daughter's newly found fame. She saw it as her own and saw H and B as threats to her domain. Let's not forget the grand NARC Hefner who didn't want all 3 girls on the same page. Regardless K was the least mature and easily manipulated by those who "had her best" at heart. The pitfalls of fame especially with a wannabe NARC parent whispering sour notes in her ear.

I think so. I recently started watching the show again, and you're so right about her mother! I can see her saying things to K, causing the rift. The way she behaved, she probably thought if they could get rid of the others, she could move in lol. But you can see why K is the way she is. . Her mother is awful.
