Settings are important. What was the fdm printed at? I've printed miniatures on fdm that has enough details for eyes. Unless trying to print fine wrinkles on a small face or skin pours on a medium to large bust, fdm has a lot of detail. For the parts examplified in the video, fdm is the better choice. I say this largely because the overhead in time and chemical handling in post processing SLA will not net a benefit with that particular part and tolerance needs.

The time end chemical handling is pretty easy when you have a process and the equipment, i have more trouble cleaning my air brushes than my resin prints. The major problem with FDM and high detail is that you will have to spend weeks printing something that is both large and high detailed.

@miguellopez3392 a hobbiest isn't going to pay for one of these when there are much cheaper options. In a professional setting with employees, it's a different situation.

@@miguellopez3392 yeah, and chemical handling is different when you have employees and disposal. The small amount of what you are doing in your garage is not the same thing.

@@DaniGirl6 i have like 4 printers and 20kg of resin in my laundry room, i dont need this because im not aiming for speed and reliability.
