The Jupiter Accordion has two switches on either side of the Converter Switch that activate additional ranks of Reeds for the Two Bass Rows in Stradella Mode & the Lowest Octave of notes in Free Bass Mode, you want that bottom octave to have good boost.

@@ferranacordio They should expand the catalogue to include a feature of multiple ranks of Reeds in Free Bass Mode (to match the Treble side w/ the max sound) & also extending the range down to 32 ft C (maybe 64 ft C or lower) because the bigger range will give you more notes you can play

@@ferranacordio You could even play the instrument standing up because of its size. It's fairly heavy so you need to be pretty strong to do that.

Very nice. I think the reason there are not more likes - it seems the accordion is not a popular instrument. Although I like it a lot!

@@ferranacordio Thank you for your reply. That's what I thought. I have been listening to these Russian bayans for over fifty years. No other make comes close to their sound. They are really unique. It's the way they're built. However, they do have the reputation of being always in repair shops. There are always technical problems with them. I really wanted a Jupiter, but didn't want the repairs all the time, so I bought a Pigini Sirius. Beautiful, but very different. Your Scandalli sounds good though. So you play the B system? Interesting. The arranger of this (very difficult) piece was Yaschkevitz, a blind musician. He did some fantastic arrangements: Brahms Hungarian Dance #5, F# minor, original key. Many others too.

Scandalli sounds infinitely better than Jupiter. Hands down, Scandalli wins.

They are different, good instruments of course, but level of voices with different dynamics Jupiter is better for me.

Qualità del suono : jupter, squillo e distribuzione armonica molto estesa , timbro molto bello ed aperto, bassi pronti e profondi, suono più vicino all'organo a canne,.... Scandalli: minor squillo e distribuzione armonica differente , timbro più eufonico e flautato, suono più da fisamonica, bassi pronti e profondi,.....
