Comparing The Arc'teryx Therme Jacket And The Therme Parka

Thanks for that! I do really love the Therme Parka but I would recommend people try the size before they buy. Almost all my Arcteryx jackets (pertinently, similar parkas like the discontinued Radsten and Beta Insulated Jacket) are size Large but with the Therme my size was Medium! Looking on the Arcteryx site, this seems to be a common experience with Therme pieces. The only other jacket I have where a Medium would fit me is the Nuclei SV. Conversely, with a Cerium, the L is tight and I really need a XL!

Exactly, they are sized a bit larger. I do also own the Nuclei, and I too sized down with that one, as I knew that I wasn't planning to wear multiple layers under it.

I have the Thorsen parka which i love. Preceeded the sv i believe.

Yes, I have seen that. I think that your right, that the Therme SV is a close replacement to the Thorsen.
