@@goodvibes2192 I think it took me like a month. But I did it the unhealthy way; stretching in a month caused me to get a blowout. So I had downsize and then a month later went back to 00. The healthy way should take you a good amount of time. Like just take your time, maybe 3 months.

The 1g help more then tapers and tape method! It’s just hard to find a 1g and you might have to order it online. By the time I got the 1g in it didn’t take long for my ear to heal and transition to a 0g FINALLY!

I personally really love 7/16" It's so hard to stop stretching once you start though lol. It's intimidating. I think half inch is such a perfect size, but 00g has a lot of jewelry options too

i always used electric tape to stretch as the size differences got bigger. just keep adding more layers of tape over time until you can fit your next size. did that all the way to 3/4 where i was happy at. never use tapers! i really messed my left ear up using them and even professionals will tell you not to use them

I stretched my ears in 7th grade straight to an 8g and took them out 10th grade. Two years out of high school I decided to restretch them and did the same thing, about a month later I stretched to a 2g thinking I wouldn’t go any bigger because it’s already so big. Now that I have those in I realize they aren’t as big as I thought and am unhappy but needed a size comparison so I’m really happy you made one for us. I think I might go to a 1/2” but not right now, my husband is already missing this adventure with me since he’s been away for basic/ait.

I'm not really sure to be honest what size gage I have in now I'm thinking 0G or 2G. It would be so helpful if you could go through the process of stretching in relation to sizing. it's been about a month since I sized up to a 2g. I've tried sizing up to a 0g every 2 weeks or more but I just can't seem to get the taper through, therefore I don't push it. I wait. I just think that a 2g to 0g is quite a big difference in comparison and it takes a long time for your ear to be properly healed and ready for the next sizing. my goal is to reach 00g, and quite possibly go larger. I know I must be patient in order to not blow out or thin out my ears. but I've been waiting years to finally have permission to stretch my ears. now that it's come I wish the process was faster and I also wish they had a size in between the 2 and 0. just because my ears just do not want to stretch to the 0g. I'm starting to worry that it might not ever work. ):

Well 00g is 10mm, and 1/2 is 12.7mm. That's a pretty big stretch without going to 7/16, or 11mm in between.

Israel Andrade they probably aren't actually 00g. Find some calipers and measure them to see if they're 10mm in diameter.

Yah it does when you first stretch but when going up sizes and doing it right and taking care of them it doesn't really hurt, but if you don't take care of them yah it hurts 😂 , and you don't wait for them to heal and you force them in it hurts even worst

It depends on how you do it and how long you wait between sizes. It isn't painful for everyone. It has been painful sometimes for me, but usually not too bad. At most a 3/10, other than when I had it stretched professionally.

Use ptfe tape. Much easier and healthier for your lobes. I have stubborn lobes where they don't stretch at all but with tape it was a breeze.

Try out some different jewelry types at 00g and decide if you want to go bigger. 7/16 is a nice size and I don't think it's too hard to find jewelry at. I really love the look of 1/2 inch, but I think it totally depends on each person's anatomy.

And you can close them back up from there. I actually closed one ear from 9/16 to a 2g unintentionally, so it's not too hard to go back down in sizes
