Hello Youthman, this time I disagree with you, it is not fair to compare a projector with a used lamp and a new one, in addition I have the Panasonic PT AE8000u projector, with 1800 hours of use and it does not look as bad as the video you have shown. In addition it seems that your panasonic was unfocused on purpose so that it was seen far below the EPSON 5040. I have also had in my hands a 6040 that is equal to the other and I assure you that the Panny has nothing to envy to the Epson. On the other hand, you need to compare other functions such as the Memory lens in which the Panasonic is superior to the Epson because it is automatic and the other is manual. and the color calibration in the Panasonic is made in its Hollywood laboratories by the cinematographers themselves. Finally at the end of the video you show, just before the final title, in the Epson you can see the judder vs Panny shows a more fluid video. regards

Thanks Oscar. Hopefully you realize this is in no way a review. I literally turned on the Epson, focused it and hit record You do bring up a point with the Penny being unfocused...I shot both video with the camera in the same location BUT I was shooting at 2.8 which has a shallow depth of field. With me cropping the right half of the Panny, the left half would be the furthest away from the camera which would cause the video to not be as sharp. I can do another video and put the right half side by side. Maybe that’s a better representation. Thank you for your input.
@Youthman6 жыл бұрын
Even if the Panny comes out on top it’s unfortunate because they are no longer making Home Theater projectors. I do feel the lens memory will be far superior to the Epson. It’s super fast at around 4 seconds, is a smooth transition and it’s automatic. From demos I’ve seen online of the 5040, the Epson is none of those.

I agree, I have a 1080P projector and it's CHEAP and it looks like the 4k images on the right not the 1080p on the left, my 1080p is not blurry at all and it's projecting at 140 inches. Even downloaded content that is 480p doesn't look nearly as bad as the left hand side of this video.

if a person is just starting out in the Projector realm and only wants to use a projector for the occasional movie night once or twice a month - from your expertise is the 5040 still decent to have or should a person be looking at something newer?
@dlloyd63006 жыл бұрын
awesome video with the side by side, and I am glad that you were very transparent with the fact that the bulbs were not both at the same hour levels, but that just makes me truly wonder how much of the difference is the bulb and possibly focus drift. Being a professional installer I can tell you despite what they tell you on bulb life, a 2000H bulb has probably lost 30% of its advertised lumens. Also because of the reduced output, calibration has shifted. Another thing that needs to be checked periodically is the focus. When you power cycle a projector, it heats up and cools down. The thermal expansion and contraction from those cycles can cause the focus, lens shift, and zoom to drift every so slightly over time, so remember to check those every hundred hours or so. no doubt, everything being as it is, that Epson looks amazing.
@Youthman6 жыл бұрын
Thanks Rich, I definitely wanted to make it VERY clear that this is not a true "fair" comparison as one has a new bulb and the other has 2000 hrs on the bulb. But it's what I have to work with since I do not want to spend $300 for a new bulb if I am considering selling the unit. You aren't the only one that has questioned the "focus" issue. Looking back at the footage, I realized something.... I shot with a 2.8 Aperture which has a shallow depth of field so as the subject (ie the projection image) gets further from the camera, it begins to blur. I also set the camera off to the right as to keep the shadow from being on the image. This means I was shooting at the screen at an angle which means the right side of the screen would be in focus and the far left side would begin to be less in focus. I am about to shoot another test video explaining this and this time, instead of using the left 1/2 of the image for the Panny, I will set a higher aperture to help everything to remain in focus and I'm thinking of putting the same right half of the image on the screen at the same time so that you are seeing not 1/2 and 1/2 but only the right half of the image on both projectors. Hope that makes sense.
@warwith1n6 жыл бұрын
Yeah I am not sure about the comparison there, your Panasonic did not look calibrated at all, U need to take some still images and compare them, I use both 1080p and 4k lens shift and while the 4k has more pop to the colors the image on both are great at 13 feet away , yours looks really blurry and BAD
@Youthman6 жыл бұрын
Google, someone else mentioned that as well. I want to do another comparison video tomorrow. When I moved the camera close to the screen, I filmed the Epson and then again with the Panny. Here is what I didn't think about. I was shooting with a shallow depth of field at 2.8 aperture on my camera. By coming close to the screen plus zooming in, it makes the area that is in focus even smaller so things that are further away from the camera begin to get blurry. So by cropping the right side of the Panny footage so that they could be seen side by side, the Panny footage would be further away than the Epson footage resulting in a blurry image. Tomorrow, I want to do the same test again but instead of splitting the screen, I will use either a higher aperture or I will use the right half of the footage and put them next to each other in the video. Does that make sense?

Thanks for the video. I think the huge difference that we see in the video it's also noticeable in person. I sold my old and trustworthy ViewSonic 7820hd (1080) for an optoma uhd50 (4k) and man, it was gorgeous to look at. Unfortunately, it was a faulty unit and I back ordered it since it would take a month to get a replacement unit and I opted for the ht2050a a half price 1080 budget projector and I'm really glad because the funniest thing is that when people come over they don't notice the difference, on the other hand, I immediately I felt that it wasn't as sharp or dark and white. Having said that I don't think my old optoma uhd50 would look 800 dlls better than this Benq. When money is not an issue color, contrast and sharpness are better however comparing money to quality is not worthy.

Hey youthman! Would you be able to do a video comparing cheaper faux 4k projectors that are under the $2k price range, to the true 4k projectors in the $5k range?I've already seen videos comparing resolution clarity and they say people can't see the difference in clarity, so aside from that, what makes the higher end projectors so much more? I assume contrast and color etc. Is better, but hard to wrap my mind on the huge price difference, a video thoroughly comparing them would be nice
@Youthman4 жыл бұрын
Being a photographer, one of the biggest differences between a high-end camera and a budget friendly camera is often times the glass. The same is true with high-end projectors. Better glass results and better clarity and detail.

Very informative video, as usual... I have a doubt. 95% of the downloaded movies with me are in 1080 pixels. Rest are in 720 pixels. What is the best projector suited for these videos, whether 2K projector or 4K projector?. Will it be a waste if I buy a 4K projector? Since I fear it results in down-scaling and certain aspects of it will be removed, chief among them pixel density. If so, what will be the best projector range to play those videos in a 120 or 150 inch screen.

It turns out that I was watching a movie in 4k Resolution, and the image has a judder, I checked the projector menu and saw that the Frame Interpolation was disabled. Reviewing the manual Epson says that this works only with Full HD, which is a tragedy, because if you want to watch a movie in 4k you have to endure the judder. What do you think about this?

Hey, Youthman. I just wanna say I'm glad you are on KZbin and doing what you do. It's fun and entertaining. I just got a "4k" projector; the Optoma UHD 50, and I have had it for about a few days but I love it. I even got a price far below the MSRP. it replaces a Mitsubishi HC1600 DLP projector that was native 720 but could display 1080i. It looked pretty good until I got dust in the light path which made dark scenes look like a starfield 😅. I am blown away by the Optoma. I am discovering things in movies that I've seen many, times. For example. In the fifth Element when we first see Bruce Willis after getting out of bed, I've noticed a pretty big scar on his front right shoulder down to his underarm. Never noticed that before...and this was in the 1080p Blu-ray, one edition with the audio mastered in 4k. All this is to say that properly setup 1080 is still amazing. I bought a few 4k titles to get me started but I have to say I'm realizing just how amazing 1080p Blu-ray can be. I have a 90 inch fixed frame Stewart Filmscreen. Hopefully not too many more people pile on this video with more of the same criticisms. 4k is kind of the new toy but 1080p is I believe one the most affordable and entertaining video formats to be around for a long time. Remember even today, regular DVD discs still outsell Blu-ray. Sorry for such a long post 😁

Hello Friend. Play a blue ray with an oppo bdp 93. Use the two hdmi inputs that the oppo has. An hdmi has a processor that improves the image and that connects it to the Panasonic. The other hdmi has no improvement and that connects it to the Epson. But there are no differences. Why does that happen? Is there something I am doing wrong? What should I do to see differences? Sorry but I ask you because I don't have much knowledge and I have no one to ask. Thank you

The Panasonic is 2000 hours old, and placed 3(?) Feet further back so very unfair on the Panasonic! However I have two amazing epson projectors! The LS 10500 which I acquired recently and a Tw 8300 which is similar to a 5040! And I must say both of them are awesome in their own way! I project them on a 4k 3D "paint on" Custom made 230" screen and I must say I'm always blown away by the detail, color and depth of the picture including 3D! And the projectors are mated with a Marantz 8012! I do the upscaling on the Marantz itself and just play it through these projectors! The best part is that even the eco mode is bright enough in my dark theater!

Hey I gotta agree with some of the others on here, the Panasonic does not look 100% in focus in the comparison. You touched on why that may be in one of the comments I saw... Regardless, it does make you appreciate the brightness of a new bulb and contrast differences (whether it be the bulb or Epson projector being the better performer). I actually have the same Panasonic as you that I bought used this past spring with about 800 hrs on it. Only reason I commented on the focus is I can attest it looks much better in my setup than it seemed to be portrayed in this video with regards to focus. A quick comment on why I went with that projector... As you know, the auto focus is amazing. Can't find that in a "budget" (under 2-3k) projector these days. Plus with all the new tech coming out (4K, laser, HDR, Dolby Vision, etc), prices seem to be pretty sky high for something that has most of the features people are looking for. 1080p still looks amazing at 120"+ and I feel like prices will be a little more tolerable in 2 years with the tech aging a bit. I decided to put more money into amps/speakers as they do not advance as quickly as visuals do. Enjoy your time with that Epson! That was one I was looking at hard before landing on the Panny.

As soon as I heard you thanking Epson for sponsoring this video, I knew how this video was going to go. Also, this should have been a video about bulbs dimming over time. I also think you must of had some edge enhancement or super resolution turned up on the Epson and turned down on the Pani. The white highlights on the vegetation at 7:13 was subdued on the Pani and exaggerated on the Epson. That is due to settings. It's not because it's 4K.
@Youthman6 жыл бұрын
Hi Claude, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and concerns about this video being sponsored. Epson, nor any other manufacturer that has sponsored videos have ever asked or demanded anything of me. As a Content Creator, I have complete free loom to produce whatever videos I desire and I am not required to say certain things. I do my best as a home theater enthusiast to share my personal experiences with products and to remain as objective as I can, regardless if a video is sponsored or not. Based on other demos of the 5040, I can already tell it is not as fast or as smooth with Lens Memory changing between say 16:9 - 2.35:1. Hopefully this will become faster and smoother with future models. My integrity and character are more important than any Brand Deal. The Epson was setup using factory settings. I haven’t adjusted any settings other than zoom/focus on the Epson and the settings on the Panny are what I have used in my home since I purchased it. I haven’t had the time to peruse the menu system to see what options are available. The AE8000U was first manufactured in 2012. My purpose in this series is to see for myself if the Epson would be an upgrade to my 1080p Panasonic Projector. I would have been glad to review a Panasonic projector but they are no longer making home theater projectors. I ran some additional tests in this video - kzbin.info/www/bejne/p4OUqaN5d6anmsU and discussed an error on my part that caused the Panny to look out of focus in this video. Again, thank you sincerely for your thoughts as well as concerned. I welcome them anytime. Have a blessed day.

Thanks Claude, is there any particular settings I should look for in the Epson that might be “Juiced up”? This is my first experience with an Epson Projector.
@claudedesaulniers22916 жыл бұрын
Well, the regular resolution should be on the first adjustment screen, then you have super resolution on the signal screen I believe. The super resolution is something similar to Darbee video enhancement. There’s nothing wrong with using these settings, except of course that if you set them too high it makes the picture worst, not better. As I’m sure you know there is a trade off. Too much resolution and the picture no longer looks believable. I find super resolution set at 2 is usually good. Of course you should also turn off that frame interpolation nonsense. Enjoy.

Another great video that had my interest even though I'm not in the market for a projector... All facts are laid bare, such as bulb wear and not being native 4k.. I think it was still enlightening.... Perhaps as an absolute definitive "fair" comparison, the video has its shortfalls... BUT if I were in your position to choose between keeping an existing unit and trialing a new one... I'd do the same.. I wouldn't go to expense to replace an old bulb... I would only temporarily set up the new unit and such.. Its not ideal, but an issue of practicalities..... I'm very certain that you'll switch projector soon.... Are there any other units to be considered?

Yes it certainly is not a completely fair comparison with the aging bulb but that’s why I wanted to make it abundantly clear in the disclaimer and text over the video. I have other telexes I want to run as well. Unfortunately Panasonic is no longer making home theater projectors so I reached out to Epson and JVC. Unfortunately I cannot get a reply from JVC Marketing Rep.
@thedesperado97206 жыл бұрын
Although I agree that 4k can be a significant improvement over 2k I have never seen such a bad 2k projection before. I upgraded to a JVC X 5900 and have some real good UHD blu rays where the difference is worth the higher price but one has to check reviews before buying. The Apple TV 4k also provides good 4k HDR content but the sound quality is not as good as on Blu Ray / UHD.

Youthman 2k is the Full HD resolution, I thought the Panasonic picture was pretty bad. I have seen the Epson, it is quite good although the Sony and JVC projector are clearly better. They are much expensive as well, so the Epson is at its price point a good option.

That's the main reason I'm still waiting for better projectors in the future. As you watch more and more movies, you just lose quality and brightness. Size is neat, sure, but it'd just be a mind game with me making a judgemental move on everything I do with the projector. Gaming and watching movies. Either that, or a nice affordable MicroLED panel down the line. Recently picked up a Sony x900f during the holidays, and this should last me till the next big thing, we hope.

They are in the same boat as PSA in needing to fulfill customer orders first. I'll let you know what I hear back from Tom.

I went from the 8000 to the epson 4040 and even in that case it was a big difference but that said I think the 8000 footage here is not right, Not sure if it the focus or the content or just the 2000hrs on the bulb or a combination. I think the 8000 would normally do a bit better. That said Panasonic is done with Projectors and even looks like Sony might be moving away from the consumer projector market soon so IMHO for serious Home theater under 5K it is Epson all the way. (PS: For Gaming Optoma might have the crown now with the UH50x)

@@Youthman the other issue I have heard and likely a bigger deal is sending 4k data to a 1080p projector in and of itself drastically produces a darker image then it would with native 1080p video and I have seen examples of this when another reviewer tested both 1080 and 4k versions of the same content. So there is no real way to fairly gauge brightness, but that isn't really the point of the video or comparison, it should be about detail and clarity, because that is really what we are talking about can you tell the difference in resolution and detail between 1080 and 4k content on a screen at distance which really isn't going to come across on a youtube re-compress of 1080p recorded video anyway, so the comparison shots are nice but not really useful, it's really just about you explaining your experiences in person. Also i'm not sure the hating on e-shift is all that justified, most of what I hear is you can't tell much difference in most cases between good e-shift and true 4k, it's still producing the same number of pixels on screen, I woudl still try to avoid it though due to more points of failure, some issues with jitter, and you're essentially halving your frame rate, unless it was drastically cheaper, and generally doesn't seem to be, I don't see the value, I'm in the camp buy the best equipment you can, and it will last you a lot longer and be a better value in the end, I'm shooting for a true 4k projector for that reason, but I haven't ruled out the 5040 as i hear a lot of great things about it from various people, I just figure by the time I get something, a better model will exist.
@Youthman5 жыл бұрын
I agree with you. It’s not a night and day difference but I did notice improvement and clarity with the E shift. I would love to go with the full native 4K but right now there about $5000 for the Sony or the JVC. I tend to buy them around the $2500 or less price range so I will wait a few years until they come down in price

The irony that JVC just announced a couple weeks ago it's "faux" 8k (E-SHIFT...that is actually true/ full native 4K) is funny to me Youthman, and they are available already. Maybe you might want to reconsider your title choice of 4K to at least 4K UHD...because you are not comparing actual 4K here, like the title misleadingly states above...and then to goes as far to assess it's value on that false premise?
@Youthman6 жыл бұрын
Hi sick. What is ironic about JVC introducing a native 4K projector? Technology is continually advancing at a rapid pace and will continue to do so. JVC has always made incredible projectors with amazing black levels but they typically cost several thousand more too so it should be expected. Thanks for the suggestion on editing the title. I have added PRO-UHD to the title. The description also mentions it is 4K Enhancement.
@sickjohnson6 жыл бұрын
Hey Youth, the irony is these specific comparison videos were done years ago...but you could have beat them if you had the new JVC 8K vs. the new Sony 4K Laser that won all the awards shutting out JVC's new 8K projector at the most recent show. Youthman, you are right about the cost...but the new entry level 4K projectors are both $5K now, so they are finally coming down. For me the technology is moving very show...JVC was stagnate with zero innovation for 6 years, and they should have always been native 4K with 8K upscaling from day one, thus forcing Sony to step up their lazy game too; the only thing Sony has done in the last half century on their over priced 4K was minor processing speed, some lens tech and finally a laser light source. Panasonic has used laser light source for years now in their large venue projectors. The problem is lack of completion for them to have to give us more, the two owned their price segments and left each other alone, now though, the fight is on finally.

Ugh. We don't need 4 whole minutes of hearing about a cable upgrade or how projectors are temporarily mounted. And when selecting footage to A/B test, don't use nature footage that changes every second. You can't study each side of the picture before it changes. And you need to try and calibrate your projectors to at least brightness which is within the ballpark of each other. Two projectors calibrated for full dark aren't going to look this wildly different. Frankly, all you can get from this video is that the Epson is sharper and that your Panasonic is poorly calibrated and out of focus. I seriously don't understand why anyone upvoted this.

Hi, no doubt the Epson is significantly better ! I have the Panasonic AE 7000 and recently bought the Epson...so no discussion....Epson is much better in all aspects related to image quality. But Epson 5040UB has a major reliability problem...mine worked around 100 hours and suddenly stopped turming on...this fatal failure in the power circuit is unfortunately very common as anyone can verify with a simple google search. By chance do you know if Epson has corrected this project failure ? Mine is to be replaced, but my fear is that the power supply fails again..as several customers are reporting of sequencial failures in replaced units. However, if this critical problem is adressed and solved by Epson, the projector is a wonderful option, not only in image quality ( includind 3 D), but also in unbeatable set of features (eg. Automatic lens control ).

I think your Panasonic requires some repair, 1080p isn't that bad in real use, and color saturation and color brightness has not much to do with resolution and I see your Panasonic was dull. Also I am sure Epson uses 3LCD and I think Panasonic uses DLP which has less brighter color but such a huge difference, clearly suggests your Panasonic requires some repair, please use a better 1080p projector for comparison if you can. Not a fair comparison video. Also Epson 5040UB uses a 1080 chip which does pixel shifting to achieve 4K enhancement and doesn't provide the pixels required compared to other 4k pixel shifting based projectors. So this actually isn't a 4K vs 1080p comparison, rather a comparison between used faulty Panasonic DLP vs LCD Projector.

Not to mention you replaced a perfectly good HDMI cable for one with more BW. Bandwidth that your Epson projector is NOT going to use. The Panasonic is an old 1080p projector. There are better ones available at a much cheaper price.

I agree. Technology is rapidly advancing
@gsmd7706 жыл бұрын
In this comparison I found the 1080p better,cause the picture was just too dark for the 4K projector. I saw they showed the Brandenburg Gate towards the end. The new modern Berlin looks like sh!t! Has nothing to do with the video,but it caught my eye and I've lived here for about 28 years now. Next time just switch out the bulbs for a better comparison. Still a nice video.

Thanks. Not sure I want to buy a $300 bulb just for a test when I might be upgrading to the Epson. I posted a new video with additional testing
@Youthman6 жыл бұрын
The test showed it wasn’t the result of the bulb.
@gsmd7706 жыл бұрын
Very true. 300 for a bulb is steep.

If Panasonic was still in the business of making home theater projectors, they would probably be willing to send me one for the comparison
@gsmd7706 жыл бұрын
That's always been the downside to projectors. The bulbs and the room can't have to much light or you don't have that great picture. I use a 65 inch Sony LED TV. It works for me.
@mayanksingh126 жыл бұрын
Epson seems sharper but colors on panasonic are much better..Also its bad to compare 2000 hrs lamp with 0 hrs lamp. Obviously 0 hrs lamp will be brighter. So this comparison was flawed.
@Youthman6 жыл бұрын
Of course it’s not a completely fair comparison but that’s why I stated it in the video. But it’s what I had to work with. And if I was going to upgrade, I didn’t want to spend $300 on a new bulb for the Panny.

This video is so misguided it would be best to just take it down. It’s putting out bad info and is a disservice to any viewers. The Panasonic AE8000U doesn’t look anywhere near that bad. I have one. I just bought a 5040UB. I’ll upload my own comparison video within a month.
@Youthman5 жыл бұрын
That’s the best thing. Do your own comparison. All I can do is share my results. No reason to pull the video when I’m only sharing my results. As stated in several videos the bulb had 2000 hrs on the 8000u. I have owned two Panasonic projectors (3000u and 8000u) and enjoyed them both. It wasn’t until I found out they no longer make home theater projectors that I started looking at other brands for my home theater.
@herrero5625 жыл бұрын
There’s got to be something seriously wrong with your Panny. My Sony VPL-HW45ES looks WAY BETTER than that 2k and probably as good as the 4K with 1,900+ hrs under the trunk. But the age of your bulb made it totally unfair compared to a fresh unit. I’m not upgrading to 4K any time soon. The difference is not worth the $ and REAL 4K prices are ridiculous.
@Youthman5 жыл бұрын
The bulb hours could have definitely had an impact on video performance. I agree...Im not ready to upgrade to native 4K yet as they are still quite expensive

Not convinced. Yes 4k is better but only just. You have to look hard to see the difference with the ones I have seen. I have epson 1080p projector very happy with it. To get better I would have to pay a lot more . Not worth it.

Not trying to convince anyone. I’m trying to see for myself is Faux 4K worth it or is it Marketing hype. Check out my latest video I posted yesterday.

Wow I have to say that there is a huge difference between the two projectors. Gonna think about getting a 4k projector. Great video. Thanks

You are certainly entitled to your opinion. You state “nothing but false information. Just curious if you could elaborate on what information you consider is false. I believe my reputation over the past 10 years in the various Facebook Groups, Klipsch and AVS Forums that I frequent and Moderate and my videos here on this channel can attest to my character and reputation. Both of those mean more than any sponsored video or dollar amount. My desire on this channel is to invite my audience along my home theater journey. I don’t claim to be an expert, an audiophile, nor a videophile. I’m simply a home theater enthusiast that has a passion for audio/video With her desire to share that with those that are interested. If I review a product and there are negative things I find, I have no problem sharing them. I haven’t tested the Lens Memory yet but from what I’ve seen online, it will not be as smooth or quick as my Panasonic, nor is it automatic. Have a great weekend.

A bulb change is needed before you do a comparison!
@Youthman6 жыл бұрын
You do realize this is not a scientific experiment correct? 😀. My projector it’s probably 4-5 years old so the technology is older, the ball was older, and the format is older. By no means is it a fair comparison but it’s what I have. I want to see if the 4K enhancement is better than my current 1080 P projector. There’s no need for me to buy a $300 bulb just to test it out if I’m likely going to be upgrading to another projector. That’s why I clearly made it known up front about this so that it doesn’t appear that I’m trying to be shady with this comparison LOL. If you want to spring for the new lamp, I’m certainly willing to compare them with a new bulb 😀

A 2000hrs globe projector vs a 0hr projector?? This has to be one of the worst video demos that I have seen. I recently projected some 1080P HD content on a 5m diagonal screen on commercial grade HD Barco projector and the pixels was less than 1mm when looking at 30cm distance from wall. Watching at a distance of 5m, I would need to recalibrate my eyes with lasik and laser and still wouldn't be able to see any pixels..... Bottom line 1080P rocks with a good projector!!
@Youthman2 жыл бұрын
Sorry but 1080p is terrible on a 150” image from my 9’ viewing distance.

You should put in the description that the panny was out of focus or take this video down. This whole setup is f'd. Shit comparison fabbed to make the sponsors happy.
@Youthman6 жыл бұрын
Go watch the other videos. My integrity and reputation mean more to me than any Sponsored Video. It has been suggested that I should calibrate both projectors (which is a good idea). If it bothers you that my older Panasonic doesn’t look as good as an Epson with newer technology, I’m not sure what to tell you. Thanks for watching.
@davidbaldwin34076 жыл бұрын
No Way this is a fair comparison. Panasonic is out of focus. I don't own either, but this is a dumb comparison. Is there a piece of glass between the Panasonic projector lens and the screen? I can't tell, but if there is, that is also likely adding distortion to the image. I'm not saying the Epson isn't better, I don't know, but this test is meaningless. I also feel bad for you if you have been watching your Panasonic projector all this time when it looks like that becasue it looks like complete crap.
@Youthman6 жыл бұрын
No glass in front of the Panasonic. It’s an open window. You are correct, see my other two videos for my explanation on why the image was out of focus.

in its first 100 hrs a new bulb loses a remarkable amount of lumen
@Youthman6 жыл бұрын
Really? I didn’t know that. Interesting
@kaifa766 жыл бұрын
Youthman that’s why is useless to calibrate a projector when the bulb is brand new, the light emission stabilizes after 100-150 hours and then for 70-80% of the bulb’s life.
