I just can't believe you are selling your saab. It seemed to me that this car is a part of you. I've been watching you for a very long time, practically since the beginning of the channel (although I subscribed relatively recently) and I can't imagine you in another car :) Greetings from Poland!

Thank you so so much for watching my channel from early stage! Yes! It is almost a part of me. But my car story is not end. I hope you will also enjoy after leaving the 900. Thanks^^

AC was mostly on the more luxurious 900 models here in Sweden. I have seen a 900 Lux (the 900 with a two-tone paintjob) with an AC. A good heater is more important in our cold winters, a 900 with AC is hard to find in the Nordic countries. Humidity makes more difference, I lived in Ireland for a year where the summers are actually colder than in Sweden, but it still felt much hotter there because of the humid air.

I have seen a 900 Lux but only in photo. Yes, I can imagine that heater is much more important in such harsh winter! I lived in Sweden for a year and the summer was so nice with sunny and dried air😊

Hey, thanks for your great content! Sad to see waSaabie go, can’t believe! My 900 turbo S Aero here in the UK doesn’t have an AC. I saw your interesting usb fan fix, and tempted to do the same for mine. Personally, most of the time I find that It’s absolutely fine for me to drive it without AC over ‘summers’ here in the UK. In fact I like to have windows down to enjoy the glorious 4 pot engine sound, different story on motorway of course. I also tend to set fans to just let cold air to circulate from outside, and it just blows enough cold air through to keep it nice and cool when windows are up. What’s next?! Hachiroku?

Thank you for leaving a comment! and it's very good to know that you can use cars without AC there. Appreciate it! The USB fan is good for its price, not powerful but it's better inside. Next car is... You will know soon^^
European cars had AC as well after probably 1984 or 85, but it may have still been sometimes optional in the base model in Europe? Basically they all had AC after mid 80s, or most at least - maybe you could request a car without AC (but nobody would have thought to do that in the 80s).

True about AC in Europe. It was not standard equipment. You rarely see a SAAB 900 with AC for sale. Atleast not here in Scandinavia where i live. Humidity is not like your levels though.

In Germany classic 900s with AC are all over the place '^^ ... even convertibles! 😀

Oh, I see! I know Scandinavian summer is great and short, and it's OK without AC! Thank you so much!!

Oh, really?? I did not know that. Thank you for letting me (us) know!
Noooooooooooooo! 😢😢😢😢. My US-spec 1991 SPG turbo has very good AC. Maybe the Japanese spec was different? Or maybe yours needs to be serviced.

Sorry for my decision... Nice! SPG is the hottest! Indeed, my 900 have to be serviced, but AC refresh is so expensive as you know... Thank you for leaving comment!
