Hi Lester in Australia that type of competition in called a Par event. Not my favourite as a birdie on a hole with a shot is still 2 only +1. I prefer Stableford or stroke.

Everything was inconsistent left right not straight. i started putting a little from the toe end and it worked a treat. My 9 hole course in Essex par 33 . I went round Gross 32. 76 years old . IF I had that putter I could have made 31 "my life even". Snaggle puss. old cartoon character. Exit stage left.

Bogey on that first hole isn't a bad score in reality. That's a very expensive putter to not be making putts. I think it might be defective 😂

Absolutely hate v par (bogey). Just no joy in it or coming back as a net eagle only gets you a win against a bogey. Fair play for videoing a v par round. I've never had a good one and avoid like the plague!!
