Hello sir, how to know if the drug is competitive or non competitive, just by names?for example If in exam they just say a pt is prescribed Atorvastatin, so Atorvastatin causes what kind of inhibition? How to know this?

There is no such thing as knowing the type of inhibition from name. You have to remember for each one of them. Mostly the inhibitions that we see are competitive. So going for it in case you don't remember increases your chance of being right in exams. But in real life, you cannot generalized such things in medical field. You should know specifically what you are supposed to know.
