You wouldn’t want to discard Soul Servant with Magician’s Souls most of the time since it gets you your missing Circle or Salvation/Eternal Soul, plus there’s the small risk of drawing the bricks before resolving REF. With Brave I’d cut Rod to 1 and run Black Metal at 3 instead. It’s a 1 card Dragoon + any Red-Eyes S/T so you’d end with Gryphon wayyyy more often. Dark Magic Inheritance is actually good if you go this route too.

Issue is if you stack circle and dont sack eternal soul you went neg 1. So my line of play is safer, yours is high risk high reward. Depends on the mood I guess xD

yacine656 That line is better if you need the draws going 2nd but going 1st you’d go for Circle only if you have Eternal Soul already. Getting Eternal Soul is well worth losing the extra 2 draws since it’s a free 1-2 monsters every turn and triggers Rod to recycle back to hand.

Brave is kinda cool but totally unnecessary especially for the price. Its not worth it unless you end on gryphon + dragoon every turn. Only 1/4 combos here ended with that. Your better off using the normal summon on 1 card starter like Diviner of the Herald (Searches Ioc by sending Arc Light, IoC searches Souls) or Girsu (summon a token to link into link spider while protecting verte from imperm). Engine is also like 400 dollars, and DM is already an EXTREMELY expensive deck. I'm a DM player btw

How bout sangan instead of rod? Since rod interferes with brave. You link off sangan for almiraj and search for that crusadia that can special summon itself to where a link arrow points to. And u can make predaplant. There's also emergency teleport. So u can use two level threes to make burning abyss cherubini to send water enchantress to the grave. . sangan is a level three so is ghost ogre.

I’ve been playing around with this idea too. It’s a little meta, but Diviner can help pivot toward the ritual aspects of the deck if you don’t mind giving up the normal summon. It’s possible to activate both Diviner and Rod with Apprentice and Master of Chaos, but it’s really clunky. Adhara works with the deck in some cool ways. And you could also splash the Buster Blader package. Souls plus Where Arf Thou? can minimize the number of Buster Whelps you play and discard the fusion trap in case you draw it.

I have a similar combo DM deck but I utilize the tenyi cards. Cheaper alternative cause you still have access to Arc Light

I think we should have the same philosophy with DM as we have with cydra, which is that we want to minimize the bricks. Thus, I'm cutting DM to 1 and cutting mana completely.

@@yacine656 dark magician isn’t a combo deck. Diviner, girsu, sky striker package, red-eyes insight, are all 1 card verte or dragoons with room for cross out, called by, and 12 handtraps. So you don’t lose to ash on the ref, or imperm veiler on the verte

man adventurer is by far the most boring and annoying engine ver seen, havent even attemptet local in my life and this engine really wanna makes me sell my cards, cause i dont wanna see even see this shit, just ban the omni negate and scythe and anaconda and then we would have a balanced format
