Nice. I love how versatile this game is when it comes to fighting opponents. You can really push the tech’s boundaries of the what the devs enlisted to us players, as limited as it may be at times. Goes to show how approachable this game was to people with all kinds of skill sets (whether that may be casuals or even veterans).

been telling mfs in the fighting game community that this game is a proper 3D fighting game with tons of depth just like tekken or street fighter, but ain't no one listening for years. hoping sparking zero gets things right and captures the same feeling as BT2 and BT3 did in the more intricate levels of play. while i'm not a pro at BT2/3 by any means, i grew up playing them casually. re-exploring BT3 (and playing the BT4 mod) in the past 4 years more in-depth has been a blast (currently doing my best to learn tech from Mos videos cause that's all i seem to be missing to go pro haha). from what i've seen out of SZ it seems to be a proper sequel, just enough is new and different gameplay wise to warrant exploring it, the different movement mechanics may mean completely different playstyles from bt3 at higher competitive levels, but it looks just good enough for casuals to nut all over it for years to come (pun intended),

honestly, one of Mo’s videos recently where he wanted ppl to test if certain techs were in Sp Zero made me realize how solid and technically sound BT3 is. the things you can do with the framework the devs made of the fighting system is really astounding AND it doesnt break or glitch out. it just works. i can almost guarantee you cant body bounce in Sp Zero

have you watched "How all anime fighters should look"? I always imagined BT4 being the ultimate melting pot of the ps2 + ps3 generation of dbz games and this captures it perfectly. Unfortunately it looks like a refined Kakarot and Xenoverse in terms of the camera movement and world with BT3 mechanics added onto it

He focused on a what if 2008 BT4 happened, instead of waiting 17 years for SZ to “evolve” And a nitpick, Gokus pants doesn’t move in SZ, really awkward when the shirt moves like crazy when charging-which his video got right.

@@gohan9845 Yes, some sounds gotten a little better (like the knock back whistle and crash, some cutscenes look better than expected) but everything is still shows up. I’ve tried to explain in that video, a lot of it is a design choice, not something they believe they need to “fix”. A direction they think works. It’s almost like they tried to use DBS effects instead of DBZ. (Dbs can be good at times, but looking at the cutscene where future gohan died for example, it’s a downgrade) I’ll make an updated video one day to show I wasn’t wrong.

The only useful thing in this vid is the multi ki blast shooting ki while acending r1 triangle on PlayStation which only certain characters have the dashing an shooting one ki is useless Try setting the com to max difficulty an using it in a combo thats training an even then isn't much against real intelligence aka live players

And you’re right, using it in combos would be more useful, but that wasn’t the point of the video. It’s “Vegetas Technique only”, fun little edit of doing something I practiced, and most people can’t pull off. Thanks for the advice tho, I’m still practicing in general
