@@ianmccall5434 Thanks again. The other tunes were great too. Probably the finest piping I've heard. I shall come back to this one time and time again!

Thankyou Jake, I hope it helps inspire you each day. I tried to play each tune relaxed, without influence from the busy outside world and let the sound fill this beautiful Glen.

@@ImccallpiperThe GHB will fill a whole grid square on a map. I used to practice standing on an arm of the Chesapeake, near Annapolis. I could hear my notes echo back across the creek water from the headlands. I shall alas never return there, but Red Rocks Amphitheater in Colorado would make a superb venue, with those huge rock walls to resonate from.

I’m Drew I’m looking for someone to tutor me and to teach me how to play the Highland Pipes. I know someone who’s been playing the Highland Pipes for 40+ years I’m going to use him he’s name is Mark Haynes. He’s in Reading Scottish pipe Band It’s a local pipe Band in Berkshire.

@@DrewSpriggs-xp7kp Hi Drew, Mark I guess is surely ok to learn from and would introduce you to the Reading Pipe Band which will keep you motivated. You have a famous piper and adjudicator in your area nearby, former 2nd Battalion Scots Guards Pipe Major - Dixie Ingram. They won the World Pipe Band Championship's under Dixie's leadership. Infact, later in this video where I'm wearing trews, I actually played their winning medley. I don't think anyone else plays it. Includes the Hen's march (Jig). Can you ask Mark Haynes the name of the last tune in that medley. I'm sure he can find out from Dixie and let me know please. I learn't the whole set just from memory from when the 2nd Battalion competed in 1971 at the World's in Lanark. They were also the smartest on the field.

Going Home (Dvorák) and Green Hills of Tyrol, When the Battle's O 'er. Skye Boat Song, [w/ very creditable E doubling!] Blue Bonnets, Something that began a bit like Battle of the Somme, but ain't. Amazing Grace ( one of the two tunes no piper should be let out in public without), Scotland the Brave (the other one!), Mairi's Wedding. _______ , ______ . The ones in the green glade I don't know. Second tune is half familiar. Don't know that strathspey after it at all, then it decides to go into a reel... and Flower of Scotland (the other anthem), ______ , getting out of my depth. Farewell to the Creeks a/k/a Banks of Sicily. The Mafia keeps their money there... Have to wait for a tune I know. ____ , Bonnie Dundee, for a finale.
