anyway to make the selection tool act like in procreate where you are simply allowed to draw around the image similar to the selection tool but with the ability to lift your hand without it auto selecting?

Please, please help! Can´t find anywhere a way to replace any given layer with another image. It seems like such a basic thing to do but looks as if it´s impossible for me to find. I basically made a 3 by 3 collage and only want the same structure with different images.

I think u can go in selection tab on top of the screen and press remove all selections or just use ctrl shift A (Not sure about the shortcut key but i think it's the correct one)

i somehow made my selection tool select things in an inverted way on its own (like without inverting area or cntrl shift I. I selected an area aand it was already inverted on it`s own). You go up to "Select" (Should be on the top of the screen right in between "Layer" and "Filter". Then you click on it to get a drop-down menu. You should be able to click "Deselect" from there. There are lots of other useful tools there too (I know I use invert selection a lot : ) )

ah no i found it now. idk if you still need it after all this time but when you hover your mouse over the tool it should say the name, then search for that name in tool shortcuts and it should be the only one that pops up
