It always seems to come back to self-love and allowing the moment to be. Every situation is inherently neutral. There is no built in meaning. We attach the meaning of a situation using the filter of our mind to be pleasurable or painful based on the way we relate to the situation. What helps me is allowing the moment to be and then it will normally transmute due the fact that I am no longer in resistant to it. Great video and Much Love.

+Sbeast I got the joke. Can I answer in a serious way, sorry to ruin the party - did you see her schedule? She's booked for so many lectures/conferences. I hope that her workshops get recorded. ... btw... again, buzz kill here - I figured the joke was that you were "complaining" and we're watching a vid about that, so now you have to ask what bothers you so much that you needed to complain about her not making more videos for us lol!

Step 1 - do it with love, not to improve yourself and make yourself better just to acknowledge you and your pain to understand yourself Step 2 - helplessness, do the first next step Step 3 - whatever youre complaining about has something to say Step 4 - get someone else to feell and acknowledge your pain Step 5 - your ego is trying to feel good by making other things bad. Feel the feelings. The bad feelings that tell you you're bad Step 6 - gratefulness journal, scavenger hunt for the aspect that likes the thing that you dont. Even if one aspect does Step 7 - only a 1 hr time period where you dont complain and when you do, follow the steps above

this vid just so happen to be posted on the very same day i underwent a huge and unfamiliar emotional break down which truly was out of character, for myself. so, im appreciative to have heard this advice. the part about the common response, given by many, to remove others who are "chronic complainers" in your life resisnated with me becasue Teal's pov reminded me how valuable i am to another who is in desperate need of relief. however, life experience has conditioned me, as well, to accept that there are definitely moments when the best thing i can do for a "chronic complainer" is to give them their own space because i am not always suited at being someone else's punching bag. ~namaste

Very powerful stuff but I know for a lot of us, this is going to be very hard. I think this is one aspect of the ego we really have a hard time letting go of and if that wasn't enough lol the steps to this process takes a lot of self awareness and patience! I know for me facing this aspect of myself will be extremely hard to even admit. This year is going test us on all we have learned so far and continue to break apart the limits!!

1.Do internal scavenger hunt on good things. Fueling fire of COMPLAINTS.... so hard to wrap around many peoples head. But yes low self esteem . But maybe we just are not a vibrational match to what were complaining about. I don't agree about it always is about feeling worthless,this complaining. I'm not complaining now? Am I or just not in alignment to this theory completely. Yes I agree with some points of course. Like that complaints are about priorities . I like not suppressing my emotions/complaints... Charge inwards . Ya someone or something isn't how I want it or they annoy my energy. Ask others to see and feel my pain. But what if my pain is something about them? Positive aspects journal. In my phone. That's great. I'm living in saddness.

My father complains all the time. SO much so, I can't even begin to describe here. It's absolutely incessant, he's literally the most pessimistic man my entire family have ever known and it's unbearable. Not only this, but he's completely deluded and calls himself an "optimist", he always says how "positive" he is and how "wrong" everyone else is. It's only getting worse. He's withering away, dying from his own poisonous negativity, absolutely consumed by it and it's only worsened and perpetuated by the fact that he's isolated because, even though he lives with us, we do what we can to avoid him and he's very excluded from our family. We try everything we can do include him and make him happy and we're ALWAYS giving him helpful advice on being optimistic and trying to make his life better, but he DOES NOT LISTEN to anyone. He shouts, he swears, he gets aggressive, he's ALWAYS talked over EVERYONE to the point where so many people have complained about his interrupting (I hear him doing it with his "friends", it's cringe-worthy). He's extremely defensive and deflective and incapable of learning, listening and communicating. He will simply resort to verbal abuse and sarcasm and then have the deluded audacity to complain about how communicationally dysfunctional our family is, when our family is actually excellent at communicating, it's HIM that's the issue. I wish there was some way to help him, but he's spiraling out of control and I feel like we've tried everything at this point.
@corinnegodard83585 жыл бұрын
No, it seems to me that you haven't done everything yet. You haven't done what Teal Swan said in this video : you have not validated his pain. You haven't listened to his emotions underneath his pain. Maybe he does not need advice on how to be positive. Maybe he just needs to be heard. He feels cut off from others (of course it is because he cuts himself off from others and it is very frustrating for you). He probably needs presence, connection without being judged, without the pressure to be positive. His behaviour drains your energy. So I understand your need to protect yourself too. Maybe there is a solution. Don't sacrifice yourself but don't exclude him either (or include him conditionally by giving him advice.)

What about when u work with controlling people who restrict your growth, development and creativity? Who are also VERY passive aggressive and make you feel anxious and angry? I've chosen to just call it a day because it's draining my positivity and wellbeing...... It is seeping into my personal life. My true alignment is happiness and feeling good so perhaps me throwing in the towel is not dealing with my stuff but life is for living and I want to be around people who inspire and respect others........ Letting go of the things that's no longer serve me........I suppose time will tell if I have made the right decision x
