I remember the shot of him starting to run, then jumping up and down with glee when he realized what it meant. I was just a little kid when it happened but I still remember it so well! Love it!

I am a Blue Jay fan it's beyond goosebumps. TWO Hall of Famers on base. Rickey doing what Rickey does. Mitch Williams had Mr. Henderson in his head

I remember being in the living room with my family watching as that ball left the park, and completely going bananas. That was the biggest baseball moment that I have ever seen. That was a great Philadelphia team too, they had a nice line-up with solid pitching, and wild-thing Williams was their only question mark but still had great stuff. That Jays team was insanely talented, as you have think of WAMCO, and then add Ricky Henderson and Tony Fernandez to it, just amazing!

Isn’t that every kid’s dream? Hitting the World Series winning home run? Two players lived it, Bill Mazeroski & Joe Carter :)

The Jays were insane back then. John Olerud had that crazy batting average. Alomar was just the GOAT 2nd baseman.

One of the deepest lineups in baseball history. Hoping the 2022 Blue Jays can win the World Series.

I wish, was obvious they lack bullpen skills and the Mariners exploited our crappy low 90's Mayza, Cimber, Bass nothn impressive especially after the tricky split finger sinkers Gausmann pitched fooling the Mariners over and over again. We are almost there again, just need 1 more quality starter and a few quality bullpen pitchers. Our offence is enough.

i was there, row 20, just outside 3rd base. We stood on our seats the entire bottom of the 9th. There was a phillies fan sitting behind me. After Carter's homer and the initial celebration, I turned around shook his hand and said this is unbelievable. He agreed.
