This was a really good presentation into the essential components of art. This is one of those videos I wish I had seen years ago during my first foray into drawing, honestly. The information itself was concise and accompanied by examples that were solid enough to follow along and help grasp the ideas. In fact, I'm just starting to take a more serious dive into some of these concepts. And while there are still some ideas that feel a bit tough to grasp, it still feels good to know I'm heading in the right direction. I'll also be sure to come back to this video to better understand what didn't click in the near future. Thanks for putting this together and being generous enough to share it to the masses!

Konnichiwa! I’m late in like 2 weeks but hopefully you will still read my comment (sorry I don’t know if youtube will send some kind of notification to you, I have no experience with youtube). I’m learning 3d modeling, I did hard surface stuff is okay… but when it comes to human and organic in general, my model always look very weird. And some people recommended me to learn fundamentals of drawing, thanks to the all mighty algorithm god somehow recommended me your video! I love it a lot!! Hopefully you can dive deeper into the fundamentals like you stated in the beginning of the video. I will definitely recommend your channel for all my art friends! I wish the channel to grow exponentially with more high quality content like this ❤️
