Your the BEST CAR DETAILER U Tube INFO channel out there buddy barr none, i cant seem to find anyone that supports even Meguiars or Autoglym which they have uploads of so many people showing you how to, but none of them have had the complete 50/50 of any car new or old and then show what the differences are when you use good products and done right to TEST to prove how good or bad or alright to use by detailers or the family car owner who wants to make sure that the family car is looked after because he or she wants to maintain it for future sale value etc. :) Keep up the great work Serg. :)

My late husband never washed our '61 Rambler Classic. He thought it would make it rust faster. We never cleaned it because the rain would do it.

Shouldnt you prime the pads first? All detailers I follow all say that you should prime the pad first then you add the 4 dots +/-

Great video bud... Question? How do you polish grilles and front spoiler nooks and crannies?
@bootneylee98023 жыл бұрын
The dark always exposes the paint. When you look at your car in the dark with a faint flourecent source, all will be revealed. If you buff off scratches with compound, remember you must polish to restore gloss. Its really that simple....

Finishing polish: 1 micron in 10 minutes Fine polish: 2 micron in 10 minutes Medium polishing: 4 micron in 10 minutes Heavy polishing: 6 micron in 10 minutes Cutting compound: 8 micron in 10 minutes The surface you are going to polish has a surface imperfection that is 5 micron deep. You always need to work your way down from rough to least rough. So you would always want to finish with a finishing polish. There are a few different ways you can tackle this: #1 50 minutes with a finishing polish (-5 micron) Problem: takes a very long time. #2 10 minutes with a medium polish (-4 micron) 10 minutes with a finishing polish (-1 micron) Problem: the step from a medium polish to a finishing polish might be a little bit to big for a perfect finish. #3 10 minutes with a finishing polish (-1 micron) 20 minutes with a fine polish (-4 micron) Problem: takes a long time. #4 5 minutes with a medium polish (-2 micron) 10 minutes with a light polish (-2 micron) 10 minutes with a finishing polish (-1 micron) Problem: 3 different stages. #1: This would be a 1 stage polish, but because it takes 50 minutes it is not a smart choice. #2: With 20 minutes, this 2 stage polish would be a decent choice, but sometimes the jump from a medium polish to a finishing polish might be to big. Would be the choice to make if you are in a hurry. #3: Also a 2 stage polish, but it takes 30 minutes. Would be a good choice if you have the time. #4: Still takes 25 minutes, but you would need 3 different pads and you will be using 3 different products. Not the most logical choice.

Just got my hands on the EX-605 kit and attacked the bonnet of my VE SS-V the other day attempting swirl removal. Went well, though I used the S20 Black but with a red pad, not sure if this was the best idea now given the video! Only did about 2-3 passes however and the swirl removal is noticeable compared to the rest of the car so far so happy with the first attempt. Wondering though, would you recommend using the DA for polish application as well? And would you remove the S20 with microfiber cloth prior to applying polish as well or buff over the top and then remove? Apologies for the absolutely novice questions however I've never used a DA for swirl removal before and I usually just use Autoglym Resin Polish by hand! Cheers.

Swirl marks are from improper polishing, not improper washing guy. And a DA is good, but the same results can be had from an orbital polisher with variable speeds if the correct pad, speed and pressure are used in conjunction with a good compound and polishing formula.
@ryanjess51113 жыл бұрын
They're very much caused by improper washing techniques. Improper polishing simply makes them worse and adds holograms to the mix.

Single stage correction is terminology normally only used with single stage paint, not base coat/clear coat. There is a difference and you should not give folks wrong information. You never even covered the highly popular single stage paint and how to properly cut and buff it.
