Another thing to consider with Boothill is that currently, there isnt many great buffs to the Break effect playstyle in Simulated Universe. Players who play a lot of SU like me, this is something to keep in mind

That set is a very miniscule upgrade for Boothill since he doesn't do Super Break. So if you have thief/watchmaker with better substats you don't need to farm it.

@@Indian_gae_boii No, HMC doesn't make Boothill do Super Break. When HMC ult is up, any hits on broken enemies trigger an instance of SB. It's still HMC's ability, so Boothill doesn't benefit from it. It's a tailor made set for Firefly since she has actual SB separate from HMC in her kit.

That E2 sounds kind of nice, actually. It solves any skill point concerns with him because he’ll gain a skill point every time he breaks or kills an enemy (you’ll be in stand off almost everytime you kill an enemy with Boothill anyway.)

I think you're undervaluing the E1 a little bit. 10% total damage extra is nice, but gaining that first stack at the beginning of the fight makes him far more flexible of a unit in timed content like MoC. It's both a considerable dmg and QoL increase.

E1 definitely mitigates his main issue of building stacks, especially when there are no small mobs for him to build up. If he is only fighting 1-2 elites/bosses, he has a tough time building stacks. Floor 11 is a good example.

i hope that if i lose my 50/50, I lose it to Clara. not only is she a Physical DPS, which is what I hope to get with Boothill, as well as the only standard 5 star I don’t have, but I also spent so much time refining my FUA team. Clara can slot in for Ratio into all those Fire/Physical stages, or for content that is more AoE focused. although Clara is not a break-scaling character, it would be fun to build her as a break DPS. her kit is suited for it, with so many instances of toughness damage. so I can literally just replace her on the Ruan Mei/TB/Gallagher superbreak comp until I get a better break DPS, maybe Firefly. but honestly I just hope I win the 50/50

Great video. I'm on the fence to get Boothill as I already have great dps like Kafka/Black Swan and Acheron. But my only physical dps are e6 Luka and Clara. I wanted to save for Jade as I really need better erudition characters on my account but after testing Boothill out and seeing kit more, I'm really thinking he could be a great addition. I noticed you didn't mention Hanya as an option. Would Hanya bring anything to boothill? Boothill / Hanya / Ruan Mei / Aventurine team, for example??

If you want phyisical erudtition Argenti is speculated to rerun next patch! About Hanya she buffs speed and attack so she will be okay, but if you have HMC they would suit here much more better, but Hanya is okay for now I think
