Cambridge is one place I would love to visit. I would love to explore on a bicycle. The outside market would be fun too. Wonderful video. Thank you. Hi from Sandpoint, Idaho USA.

Well hello to you Mr HD, I know you'd certainly love Cambridge, I think it ties with Edinburgh for being our favourite British city. Let's hope you get there one day, we'd certainly join you for an afternoon tea if you were to!! All the best to you chum. How are you getting on with your new bike BTW?

Hello. Another of your wonderful walks - and Cambridge !!!!! What is there not to like :) If you don`t mind an observation, the video quality here is not as sharp and precise as many of your previous walks - not a complaint, just an an observation. Thanks once again though, wonderful :)
@LivingWalks2 жыл бұрын
Well a very good morning to you Mr T, hope you are well? Interesting observation regarding the video quality. All the settings are the shame but it does make a huge difference if the sky is blue or white cloud and we were at times shooting into the sun on this occasion because of the route. Hope it didn't spoil your enjoyment! All the best to you.

@@LivingWalks Thank you - I am quite well ( I think ) and hope you are too :) Completely understand regarding atmospheric conditions - it all makes perfect sense to me !!!! And yes, I still enjoyed another visit to Cambridge regardless - so many thanks once again - onward !!

I look at the Cambrige and I think that universities tear young people away from reality, and that it is impossible to return to reality after university illusions. As a result, few people in the world are capable of solving the problems that have accumulated before humanity. The best teacher is life itself. Philosophers, historians, lawyers and journalists must work in seven different businesses, communicate with a wide range of people and learn a living and practical psychology. Academic psychology is only suitable for intellectual narcissists to entertain their peers over cups of coffee. A practicing intellectual person does not need forty subjects studied in universities, but much less. So you need to come to the university once a year for a week or two not only to take a small number of exams (one exam per year), but above all to communicate with intelligent people who help to systematize the experience gained during discussions. . It is necessary to implement the principle of Socrates: it is not necessary to put ready-made theories in a person's brain, but to let theories be born in his brain. So we do not need conferences, but debates on questions from real life. And to have food for discussion, you have to immerse yourself in real life, and not be in an artificial university environm.

All good comments. In an ideal world, practice and theory go hand in hand...
